Welcome to our world mate  HUUUUUUUUUGE THANKS goes to Black Baz and his Lovely Wife... Without you 2, last night wouldn't have happened. Was a mild yet wild night... with our guest of honour arriving at approximately 7:03PM half the Z Team were already there. Not a bad turnout at all i'd say  Thanks to all of you who came, it really was a great night. Love sitting down, meeting a new face from out of town. Talkin Zeds for hours and hours with a couple of random conversations thrown in as well including whips n chains. Total of 7 Zeds showed up  which was great. Was GREAT meeting you Adrian, hope you enjoyed the night and have a better understanding of the QLD crew  I forgot to mention we had a nice, quiet, peacefully smooth drive home too  Didn't we boys n girls??? Pex mate, that bonnet of yours looks  Can't wait to see it 100% bolted onto the car and ready to go. Fate... THE COONAHOONA
yep .. thanks guys and gals for making AADOOR'S welcome such a relaxed and enjoyable evening ... sorry, reek, but you missed the marinated octupi , even better than last time ..:LOL::thumbsup::thumbsup:... the star of the night had to be "zedette" with all her investigations and discoveries ..!!! looks as if greg and tammy will be in the gold fish market very soon ..!!! just be thankful, greg, that she didn't find the cockatiels ..!!!!.. but she is really one special darling ..!!:zlove: and greg, just realised that i failed to fix you for the "karo bazu" decals .. which will go on tomorrow .. email sent re paying for these top mods ..yep, at least +15 hp at the wheels ..!!!!!:thumbsup: enjoyable night ..thanks guys and gals ..
Great night at the house of Baz Great food and great company. The question is - will Baz manage to convince Annette that he should make the move to the dark side??? Is a TT in the near future?? Enjoyed our spirited 5 Zed mini cruise on the winding bits up to the Panorama - just so Adrian could see the Gold Coast City lights:thumbsup: But seeing as he was PSA in Fate's rocket I don't think he saw much of the scenery:LOL::LOL: Thanks again to Baz and Annette for a great evening:thumbsup:
Was a great time!!! Sorry I had to head off early... But it had to be done... Home by 10ish - so very sleepy right now!!! Thank god for caffine... Baz, you have the best backyard (sideyard - whatever) in the history of backyards... When I grow up, I'm having one just like it... Odds of making it to Coona have increased dramaticly too... Tammy is keen to go, but wants to make sure that her mum won't miss her too much over easter first... 1, 2, 3 - Aaaaawwwww!!!! Thanks again for a great nite - it always good to chat to you guys
Fantastic night The food was absolutely breath taking and the setup was something really special. Good to meet a few more faces, Flame keep a leash on the Mrs of yours she can get wild at times. Fate, thanks for the cruise home it was...............well, lets just keep it to the imagination. Nate
You'll be pleased to know that your nagging has paid off... We are now booked in for Coona!!!
Just one word describes the night :- AWESOME Such hospitality, great food and company to boot. Think I spent most of the night on my backside since I am not moving too well, but that Chardy Shack was oh so relaxing  Caitlyn (Zedette) had a great time too with the pool and ponds and the giant pillow The QLD 300ZX social calendar is a busy one, that's for sure A big thank you to Barry and Anette for puitting on such a wonderful night. After winding up through the hinterland in the pitch black, we finally pulled up at home at about 12:20am.
You Qld'ers are as mad as a cut snake (Best Steve Irwin impersonation) Where to begin.... Qld, beautiful one day, Perfect all Night.... From the minute I sent out a "calling all cars" on the forum, I knew I was putting myself in the hotseat, and You Guys Positively Did Not Fail to Impress. From swinging past my hotel and escorting me down, to all of you greeting me at the door and making me feel at home, I was asking myself "Am I really in QLD or did I some how end up back home and already know everybody"??? The food would have put a world class chief to shame, and I am not exaggerating. From the prawns to the baby ocii to the chicken skewers or spare ribs, salads, sauces and plenty of drinks, it was a bonza BBQ. The drive up the mountains was slow (wicked grin) yet intense and I got plenty of scenery in and the smell of burning rubber and clutch oil just complimented the delectable food,... all be it from a slightly blurred vision that would have seemed I was in the worlds largest mobile phone and some one was dialing our number **Nudge nudge**. Fate, just cause your paranoid, doesn't mean some ones not trying to get you. 300luva - please don't mention Flame and his leashes I'm trying to keep all those images at the BBQ. Black Baz - Big thank you for your superb hospitality, I guess I should start calling you Uncle Baz now. And all talk of crazy NSW club members was all positive I must say, even Chili copped a full serve of "man what a nice bloke" (sorry don't know which chili you guys know but it wasn't my chili that's for sure). Wizard, JP, all the local crew got rave reviews but I must say the most popular zedder went to none other then our own Caroline, or crazy "Caz1" as forum members have gotten to know her. Even got to see chili brake brace in action, and all I can say is Chili if your reading this, Mate order me up one thanks I want one asap.... The time to head on home came all to suddenly, time just flies when your having a Blast... and I don't mean the Laundry Detergent Flame !!! But not to worry the gang were there to escort me back up the freeway and all I can say is Qld highways are like none other... four five lanes of Z machinery belting out a rumbling tune of "Get the hell out of the way" up the M1 was music to my ears. The cars are clean and slick on the outside and dumb an absolute fistful of boost pressure on gear changes... was going to mention Pex's beast in particular but then I remember every ones car at some stage shooting past looking like sexxx on wheels and sounding more like they had vent wastegates rather then Bov's. Big big thumps up and thank yous all round, what a wonderful bunch of people. So nice in fact that I extended my flight out of Brisie from Fri night to Sunday and have hooked up with a friends friend from Sydney, so if your around Runaway Bay, give me a buzz I'd love to catch up some more. Adrian - AAD00R
Sorry I missed you An appointment at 1830 + Richo not well enuf to act as my 'designated driver', meant I had to miss all the fun. If the local gang are cruiZing Surfers with Adrian on Saturday night, I'm on VMR duty - maybe call past for a boat ride eh?
good to hear you had a great night Adrian Also good meeting you in the work carpark! strange we both work for the same company eh? I have heard the story from the girls at work when you asked the question: 'Who owns THAT?' as you saw me drive into work one day Sorry i couldnt make it, as you could tell, was still quite ill from sat night... i made it to the tech day on sunday morning, but i guess i got progressively worse over the week :s Marinated octopi? yummm.... see y'all next time, if i'm well enough!
good news, mike .... the power of nagging is awesome ... !! am a bit slow out of the blocks today ..got to bed around 3.00am .. glad that all enjoyed the night .. the "way home" activity sounds as if it was interesting ....??!!!
