I have to say good-bye to my beloved zed at 6pm tonight. I finally sold it and the new owner picks her up tonight! : (

It has been a very enjoyable 15 months since I had it registered, and you guys on the forum have helped with that. Whenever I ran into trouble, I knew I could count on the forum members to help me out.

I'd like to particularly thank a few members that have helped me, and i hope I don't leave anyone out! Firstly Blipman for finding my dream car, BlackBaz for welcoming another black zed, then Wykked, Jedi, RedZedMikey, Dangerous and Tektrader just to name a few! I think most of you guys helped me out at my one and only tech day visit. I'll never forget how scared i was of Graham ripping things out of my engine bay! : ) Thanks a million guys!

And if i could offer one piece of advice to zed owners in Victoria.....drive your zed along the great oceon road! I never got the chance and i think i'll regret it forever.

    Cheers,
    Sally.

    Hey Sally...

There is still time... you have till 6 tonight! I knew it was only a matter of time before someone bought your Zed. Do you plan on buying another sports car (perhaps another Zed) in the future?
Or is it not on the cards at this stage? Good luck with your next car, be it a Camry, Magna, Corolla etc... *smilie*

Also, once a zed owner always a zed owner, so make sure you visit the forum everynow and then just to say hello..:)

    Cheers

    Sad day indeed :(

Will be sad to see you go Sal.

Always sad farewelling another member. Just think on the positive side, At least you don't have to say goodbye to a wrecked Zed.

Will always be here if you need us.

    Farewell from Fate.

RedZedMikey RZM should now be DZM

Sorry to hear Sal - good luck with whatever the next set of wheels is.

I must take that advice 1 day ... whilst I've driven RedZed to Perth, Brisbane, Adelaide, Sydney - I've missed every forum cruise on the GOR, and haven't done it just by myself in the 6 years I've owned her. I think I need a nice dry sunny weekend - soon! However, I have managed to do the Black Spur at least a dozen times :).

    Thanks guys.....

I hope you are right, and that I will be back in a zed one day! For those that asked, the next car is a little more family friendly! I'm getting married in february and then it's time for babies!!! : ) So i have ashamedly turned to a VY II Acclaim Wagon. A far cry from the sporty zed I must say!

I know people told me that zeds can handle baby seats, but with an exhaust as loud as mine, and suspension as stiff as mine, the baby would have been deaf in no time, and have constant back complaints! : )

The new owner is lovely, and I strongly encouraged him to jump onto the forum, so hopefully you'll all see my car again soon!

    Blipman Beer hooves totally work

Shame to hear that Sally, but at least it sounds like it's gone to a good home and I think you're going to have more important things to worry about in the next few years with those plans than a car!
