    Hey Guys

Another new product from Alloy Race Technology, is the new range of Overflow Bottles. These have been designed as a Universal Bottle, but have both left and right hand side positioning. As can be seen by the pics below.

This allows you to mount it on either the left or right hand side of your radiator.

    Features
    • Billet Filler Neck - Large
    • Dash 6 Radiator Inlet Port
    • Dash 6 Bottom Drainage Port
The Filler Neck, also has an overflow port, just incase the system becomes over pressurised.

Hmm they do look quite nice. Can you throw in a radiator cap at that price to make it a nicer package? :)

are these to replace the stock item?

If so the stock item only has one inlet and thats it. This appears to have 3, well one inlet and 2 drainage points.

Or is this meant to replace the rad cap entirely on the radiator?

Bottom Point - purely for drainage
Side Bottom - inlet port from radiator
Port on Filler Neck - when the entire system becomes over pressurised, excess water/coolant is released here

You can use this as a high fill point -

    Thanks

    im kinda confused...

because wouldnt having a second overflow point mean you have to have ANOTHER overflow tank... or is this meant to simply dump the excess pressure as it would have a rad cap of its own on it?

Have to agree, surely these are swirl pots and not overflow tanks?

    I know what you mean

Swirl Pots, have many more ports than we do

    Ours is a basic design

Bottom Point - purely for drainage
Side Bottom - inlet/suck back port from radiator
Port on Filler Neck - when the entire system becomes over pressurised, excess water/coolant is released here

Because you put a radiator cap on the top of this, You can use it as a high fill point and overflow bottle.

    its not a SWIRL POT.

    sorry for the confusion

    Thanks
