As most of you are aware i am replacing the head gasket on my Z (while in the engine bay) so i decided to complete some upgrades whilst i am ther eg: boost control, boost gauge ect... But i dont seem to be able to find any instuctions on how to install an aftermarket Tacho... I have a 5" 10k rpm tach reday to go but i cant think of where the wire that would go in the coil can go as the z has six seperate coil packs.... Can someone please help??? I would be most greatfull
I need to be able to find that wire does anyone know where to find it? Is there one going into the back of the dash cluster?
exactly.... those monster tacho's just scream "look at me, I'm a ricer" and look a little silly on the zed. But hey, to each their own. Cheers
Yes, the Z has a perfectly good 9K tacho conveinantly placed in the dash for easy use! If you have trouble seeing it you might need to get your eyes checked...
