Having had the opportunity to see Karl's engine at Cowra(and being regularly astounded by Joe's efforts over the past few years), I would have to say that Joe's presentation is streets ahead. This is in no way a put-down of Karl and his truly beautiful example. There is a huge price to pay for Joe....he can almost never use his car(for fear of it raining while he is away from home) and when you see it in person, you can understand why. In most circles, Karl would be considered an extremist(Joe, by comparison, is entirely insane, but we all love him for it).:zlove::zlove::zlove:
That engine bay is absolutely amazing. Well done! My only comment, perhaps a little negative, would be to watch out for the throttle cable roller getting caught up in the mesh in the cable cover, as recently happened to me. The mesh had been in place for about three years, but the last time the car was at the mechanics, they didn't replace the washers I had put under the cable cover to give the roller clearance from the mesh. V scary when throttle jams open.
AWSOME i have to ask... HOW THE HELL do you get a plenum looking sooooo clean? I've had a good scrub at mine with degreaser and it still looks shit
wow i think you have way tooo much time on your hands . fkn nice p.s get rid of the mesh on the throttle cover
