I been here for a while but never really posted any pics of my Z.. I figure now is as good a time as any.. It's in dire need of a wash and a new frontbar..
Nice looking zee man! The black paint looks great...except for the front bar. Love the way the gauge is mounted in the a/c vent. Paul
Haha it's probably just the angle of the pic The handbrake is straight, and works fine... I think...
Nice, but... sorry, don't like the blue in the dash. By the way, is that a "Kokimoto" exhaust? - I can tell by the sticker on the side of the exhaust tip. If so, thats a good score. - They're bloody good but not cheap you know..... Cheers, Ben.
About the blue dash.. When I bought the car it had blue vinyl trims, dash, seatbelts. I've replaced the trims with red leather, but I've yet to redo the dash and seatbelts.. I'm getting the dash done in red but not sure whether I'll get a shiny finish, or dull.. Seatbelts, well, I'll probably get them done in red when I get the seats retrimmed... Yep it's a Kakimoto, I got no idea how much they're worth.:embarrassed: I'm actually considering replacing it with a twin system simply for the looks.. It's a pretty loud exhaust too which adds to me wanting to replace it.
Got it done at a place called Trimworld.. In Coburg in Melbourne.. It cost a bit, $900. That replaced all the stock interior trims, except the seats. Here's their website if you're interested. Trimworld
crazy zed i love the interior. that is a crazy job. i really should get started on doing mine. the seatbelts don't look to good being such a bright colour but i love the dash (not the fact that it is blue). never seen anything like how the gauge is mounted in the airconditioning vent. looks like you have given me more ideas for what i would like to do.
Nice bit of advertising there Ken But seriously very nice looking Z, especially the interior, i have just orderered the interior from Ken in the US so hopefully it'll look as good as that, nice job..
any chance of a guide? on how to put the gauge in the a/c fitting?? pics/instructions would be AWSOME! nice car dude :zlove::thumbsup:
