Just looking for a nice body kit that will fit on my 93 targa top 2 seater. Ive seen so many sites, and so many people saying they get ripped off. Not sure where to look and buy from? Thanks.
You cop a lot of slack around here asking for body kits on a zed! I frankly find 98% don't suit the zed and end up making them look 'rice' or a fish faced car! The zed already looks good, why waste money on this? Body kits started when little boy racers in there excels wanted to look fast! And sporty! The zee already is both! In ending the best I've seen cost a lot from Japan! AbFlug kits! Even then only the top shelf ones Good luck
98% is an interesting figure. One in every fifty body kits? I'm not even certain there are that many styles of bodykit. Anyway, to partially answer your question the most reputable places are; Z1 Motorsports (America; expect ludicrous shipping charges) ConceptZPerformance (Also America; not quite as bad on the shipping front) Unique Auto Sports (Australia; Higher prices and much more limited selection) In my opinion a 300ZX is in fine form with; -2000-spec (Series 4 factory) front bumper -TwinZ Design rear diffuser -Whatever side-skirt appeals -Clean paint -Well kept trims -Decent wheels
If you want that wannabe Ferrari look (but not quite) then you could volunteer to be the first to try A_ _ _ _ _ We are all waiting. Or you can be sensible and look here. http://www.aus300zx.com/forum/showthread.php?t=322593
Yea not 100% on the body kits. But i need a new front bar because its cracked. If i cant find a kit I like, I will just get a stock bar. Ive got to get it all painted again. Anyone know how much it would cost to keep it black? And how much it would cause to change it aswel? Not sure if I wanna keep the black, or go something different.
You're right, the Veilside one is probably the only really good one. I thought bodykits, like all good car bits, started on the track, then trickled down to lonely Excel and Lancer owners?
You do know that Veilside kits are probably the most frequently denigrated Z32 kits on this and several other sites, don't you???? NOTHING is more hideous and insulting to a true Z32 Fan.:br:
I have a crack in the front bar. Not to bad, but needs repairs. I got told by a panel beater that if you repair a plastic bar its just going to break again, and youre just better off getting a fiberglass one Anyone able to confirm or deny this?
he said that so you would come back in a month and screw your bar and to fix/buy another one :rofl::rofl::rofl:[TIS] buy a urethane one, dont risk hitting a driveway the wrong way and screwing your bar!!
There is so many stock numbers on the market as used condition... Get a series one bar or go 2k for the newer look
