hey guys im new to this forum ... just about to pick up an '89 TT targa top 2+2 & was wondering if anyone can let me know where i can find a workshop manual online for this model? thanks heaps sally
Welcome There is a cd sold on the forum as a fundraiser for $10 and $2 shipping which has the manual as both pdf and doc files, info on it here: http://www.aus300zx.com/forum/showthread.php?t=254597 Has lots of other good stuff on it too, probably the best $12 I have spent in a while. There was one online here: http://carfish.mentally-challenged.com/ But the page does not sem to be working for me at the moment, maybe you will have better luck.
Welcome aboard Sally, you'll find the Workshop Manual(Service Manual) located in the Tech Section. You can access the Tech Section under "Tech" in the header bar.:zlove::zlove::zlove:
Hey Sally, welcome. As Chilli says, check the tech section its all there and one of the handiest areas you will find.
Thanks guys ... I had downloaded a couple from the net before but they were just crappy quality (i dont want to buy one .... i can think of better ways to spend $200 lol) so ill have a look through the tech section
If you have the time read EVERY tech article available here and on www.twinturbo.net Well worth the time. I actually read most of them before I bought my Z. The workshop manual in our tech section is actually very good.
I think it is pictures but I am not sure, my computer here is a dedicated photography machine so I don't have anything to open .doc files on.
ah i wish i had the time! im picking up the car on monday night after the comp test is done, i have had a read of a couple of things though ...
its just a stock 89 tt 2+2 targa 5sp in black (except now has 18's)... don't think ive seen anything about it on the forums before might have another look though ... ahh 3 days and counting til its mine
Sally, The Service Manual located at this site in our Tech Section; http://300zx-twinturbo.com/cgi-bin/manual.cgi is the page by page reproduction of the factory Service Manual(of which, I have a 'hard copy').:zlove::zlove:
Hi Sally and welcome to the forum. Reading your post it sounds like you are a model and by your picture I wouldn't be surprised. Looks like others have noticed as well. I put a question on the forum like yours once and and only got two replies. Anyway good luck with your car I'm sure there will be a queue up to help you with your car if you have any problems with it. Cheerz.
