are 5 or 6 point harness's leagale or not in queensland ? not sure wether to replace retractable's with a 5 point would like to do some track days somewhere along the line and will need them for then. anyone allready have them in there daily's ? are they just a pain in the arse? need to be passed by enginer? any advice on fitting or brands or anyone have some for sale ? thanks in advance i know where the (thanks) button is guys..:rofl:
I got defected for my 4 point, this was due to having the mounting points not mod plated, NOT for having the harness (QLD transport guy, not the cops). No issue having/using them as long as you also have and use the standard inertia real belt too. This is what my mates dad told me who is some big shot lawyer and puts harnesses in most of his sports cars.
Not legal anywhere AFAIK, and if you have them in the car you must retain and use your stock seatbelt on the road anyway.
