I am doing a group buy for these units. Price is $720 each unit, delivery included. Minimum of 5 buys needed for this to go ahead. Each unit comes with a 1.1 bar racing radiator cap as well. Definites only please. Lead time on shipping once payments are received should be a few days. Patrick
i've got one and i like it a lot very impressed by it but i didn't get the rad cap can i get one of them somehow?
not cheap because delivery from the states is not cheap man when i got mine, i bundled it with a lot of stuff... nismo oil cooler, mouldings, jspec rear lights, etc dam expensive shipping such big items from the states!
Worth it? Delivery of my Z is very soon and I know that the radiator and a couple of hoses will need some attention. How much better do you think this path would be, when compared to .....maybe second-hand or re-core etc? Try to be unbias:LOL:

Re: Worth it? dont need it unless your doing big performance mods to your car.. i only had my stocky professionally rodded out and cleaned.. never gets hot, even in 40 degrees stuck in traffic with air con on
ok here's the thing minivan has a point, but it should also be mentioned that he doesn't have an aftermarket temp gauge so when he says it never gets hot, what he means is that it hasn't tipped over the edge (ie the stock gauge hasn't moved) as to whether or not it's worth it, i usually judge things by value... and the value of something is determined by ur financial position... if u are gonna spend a bit on ur car, then i would get it just because i like everything to be really nice (preventative maintenance) but if u see the tech article a to z on cooling, then yeah its not "neccessary" how's that for unbiased? eheh :zlove: btw, its a big-ass radiator and the end result is that u have even less spare space under your bonnet (if that's hard to imagine...)
Calculations if you were to get it from COZ: $379.99 + about $150 shipping (possibly a bit more, this is a BIG item) = $529.99 USD = $711.35 AUD then possible GST added by customs: = $782.49 AUD If duties are charged by customs: = $889.19 AUD
Will see of I need it Flying out on the 8th May to get my Zed. All is good working order bet, inspection has brought a few "wear and tear" points out into the open. will seethen. As for value, I agree with "preventative maintenance". Will let you know once I check the car myself. Thanks to all for insight:thumbsup:
Re: Will see of I need it come on matt, i have an aftermarket temp guage.. its in the filing cabinet with my oil pressure and boost guage.. haha i also have datascan and have watched the temps closely in said conditions from the ECU.. it is a must to have it rodded out however, side take style radiators start filling up with crap from the bottom up and mine was 35% clogged when the guy cleaned it.. 70 bux from memeory if you take the thing out yourself
Bump BUMP! If anyone wants one of these, please let me know, the vendor has agreed to do them at this price in any quantity. I will close off this thread in a few weeks.
look around here in Australia before buying from the US ,I have bought 3 KOYO's here here in OZ and never payed more than $730 and cheapest was $690 from Pitsworth radiators in Sydney so give them a call and see if they can do you a really good GB price
Price mr TT, If you take off $30 for shipping, and $30 for the radiator cap, the actual price being paid here is $660 which is cheaper than what Pitsworth were doing it for you.
