Just found this little gem trolling around carsales, sounds like alot of time and money has been put into it...I'd love to buy a TT'd 350 to keep the 300 company but being a poor unibum I'm forced to look but not touch. By the way this car is in no way affiliated with me whatsoever, just giving the owner a free plug...not that I expect him to find a buyer out of the forum members...especially when some of you would interpret that as treason! :D

his discription of how fast it is seem alot slower than i would expect

    "0-100 in approx 4.7 seconds
This car is faster than most cars on the road including Z4's, Carreras, Boxters etc
The only thing faster would be high level ferraris and lambo's. " most out zeds do 0- 100 in that

    I'm not totally convinced

Must have spent a long time in the workshop, but got what you would expect out of 3 years average driving for a 3 year old car. (maybe he drives long distances all the time though). The price is on the cheap side for a car that extensivly modified and unique and in 'perfect' condition. I want to see more aftermarket goodies installed. Or at least receipts of them. And I want to see dyno graphs too. I guess people can always ring up the workshop mentioned and ask if they did anything like that to a Z33. I just dont get why people would spend tons of money, just to sell the car straight afterwards for a mega loss. He spent $50K plus on it? Now selling for 50K and could have got almost that selling it before the modifications.... Somebody wasn't thinking.

Its ebay, seems cheap, an item i'd throw in the 'too good to be true' basket so am skeptical until further information

Also seems a bit full of himself. There are many cars on the road that can do 0-100 in that time. Not just exotic supercars.

Perhaps he is just realistic, you average car buyer is going to tend to shy away from modified examples and this would surely push it into the void warranty category. I don't understand why people think their modified cars are worth so much more than a stock vehicle. I'd be willing to pay more for an immaculate stock 300 than one with lots of mods but that's just me. And as for plenty of cars being quicker, well there are heaps more that are slower...so let him talk.

I guess its a matter of

The car is worth what your prepared to pay for it.

It is still completly standard looking on the outside so there is not anything 'distasteful' on it. To me with the amount of work done and the fact that most parts that 'wear&tear' would (or should) have all been replaced so much newer (and should be stronger/better) than standard.

I dont think a higher price tag would be unreasonable provided everything in the ad is true.

It has the crap brakes, you would think he would have upgraded or started with the Track model instead of the poverty pack Touring.
