Almost Brought these back from the US of A when i was there, baggage was already overweight. picked up the last 3 sets of Stop techs when Coz was having his fell off the back of a truck sale, just over $1800 from memory, one for me, one for ports and one for Fatz off the skyline forum. Awesome stopping power,as Andy says worth time on every lap, where i pick up most time on others is into the corners. ports come up with a classic line, saying my face is comming off.
These are the bolt up ones that wilwood offer to fit the 350z About 2kUSD. $1600 cheaper than the Brembo's and $1k cheaper than the APRacing. Wilwood have a good solid name in motorsport, and I don't think I'll be going backward by taking this route. Whats the compatibility between z32 and z33 for rears?
pretty much the same offset in the rears between Z33 and Z32 so I'd say you're right. bolt size may be 14mm instead of 12mm but can be drilled out.
Stretching the memory Now Andy, but i think it was Dave Epstein from Arizona Z car that had them on display, Check out their website see how they compare.
A bit cheaper, but also only 13" rotors and use a smaller caliper. But the rear kit looks promising, well priced as well. Weird looking hats though.
you'll need to make sure you get a rear kit with the correct size handbrake drum in the rotor. I think late model 350Z went to a larger drum (190mm) which is bigger than what we run, early model 350Z should be the same but worth double checking.
Andy I see in your master cylinder thread your looking like going the wilwood route, this wilwood front brake groupbuy is just completing over on sau & they're talking about jumping straight into a rear buy pretty soon. Might be worth seeing if you can get some fronts included too? They went the 6 piston superlights, 332mm disks with pads, lines, etc for $1850 delivered. cheers, Tim
You cant use the 350z rear brembos on our car as the hand brake drum diameter is bigger. I never checked the caliper/rotor offset as I couldnt use them due to this.
