Some 3000GT's were locally delivered - about $97,000 in 1993. We got the whole package (AWD, Variable Exhaust, FWS, TT- unlike the Aus import model Z32!) Don't know how long Mits imported them or how many were sold. Most are 'grey' imports, though. IMHO far too complex and heavy, plus the styling is not as "pure" a shape as the Z32.
pretty good for this one i would say http://www.carsales.com.au/all-cars...=1&tsrc=allcarhome&__Nne=15&trecs=6&silo=1011 thats very low ks though how does the spoiler work?? this one looks fixed??
The TRD Camry with a single turbo 2JZ ran a 6 down the quarter at Willowbank, pretty impressive. It sounded almost silent compared to the V8s running that day... The 2JZ is an awesome motor, too bad the Surpa generally is a hairdressers car though.
it is snap and i wont deny that However, I doubt the day I get a Fezza (if ever) i'll be saying "yeah Z32's were just too unreliable so i got this" :zlove: Eyes wide open
Thought they stopped running the camry a while ago? Here's a heap of info on the Gas Motorsports Celica
Yes, very impressive... I have some photos of it somewhere that I took whilst at the strip one day. It's about as much of a Camry as a bag of bananas is, but still a tough car.
Its in a celica now , Big single 2j's go alright = 6.48 at j19 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w8cF...55041926D&playnext=1&playnext_from=PL&index=8
