300zx Stalling/Cutting out Whilst Stopping/slowing down!??

    Depends....

    .......on whether it's a TT or NA.

    A TT Auto is specified at 750rpm + or - 50rpm.
    So it could be anywhere from 700 to 800rpm.

    Whereas an NA Auto is specified at 770rpm + or - 50rpm.
    So it could be anywhere from 720 to 820rpm.

    Yes you are correct the FICD idles the car up slightly when Air Con is ON.

    Well mine is obviously stuffed then!
    Hopefully if I replace it my car should be running properly again

    Prob check the connectors for the IACV and ficd ain't swapped around.
    I may have done it in the past so I know it's possible :p

    Hahahahah! It happens i guess? Ahaha
    I can certainly 100% say they are in the right spots as i did them one by one (took one off cleaned then put it back) and my Z hasn't always been like this..

    However I wish it were that and it was that simple
