If those are Recaros why is there a complete abscence of any Recaro logos on them? Almost all Recaro seats have logos on them.. These are prob replicas. -Kirill

this is his point, it was retrimmed.... in more simple terms, the original material was ripped off and new material applied. the recaro badge would be a stiching or alike in the material ...if the recaro's you have seen still have the recaro badge then they have been stiched into the new material or something....
Yeah exactly, I understand that, don't worry. That's my point, every retrimmed Recaro seat i've seen, the trimmer went to the trouble of stitching the logo again.. Also, I haven't seen Recaros that look like the one in the link, look at the shape of the holes for the harness, haven't seen those before on reclinable Recaros. -Kirill

Comeon guys the seats in the ebay ad are not recaros 100% For one thing the recaros only become an option in the 98+ models the 95 models only had the picutred black tweed material. The only other recaroes that came in a Z32 was the M30Z Tommy Karia edition. The seller is obliviously putting the recaro in the add to get sellers attention. They are not recaros.

Yeh i can see that but ive given all the information about the stock option recaros there is. Retrimming recaros wasnt what the thread as about.
Correct on all counts. Genuine '98 model Z32 Recaros complete with the factory Z32 rails for A$1050 in NZ + A$350 to air freight them to Melbourne. Expensive, perhaps, but worth it in my book. Recaros have a plastic moulding at the back corner covering the hinge assembly on each side of the seat with the word "Recaro" embossed into the mould. The "Recaro" on my headrests is not embroidered but a logo applied by some sort of heat process I believe. Pattern is exactly as depicted in the '97-'98 300ZX brochure.

i didnt really give a shit kirill ,i thought 480 for a set of retrimmed seats wasnt bad,go buy 2 good condition seats then add the cost of retrimming and do the math p.s ...if you want to buy my leather seats as i know you do ,the price just went up lmaooooooo they were for Kathys zed anyway ,so the bidder told me
