its because hes so impatient and cant wait for the group buy price, he wants it nooooow at retail price.

 

Forum experience over many years has been that successful GBs are those managed and administered by those with maturity and appropriate GB knowledge and Zed experience .... In this case, the OP has organised some 20 or so highly successful GBs, all at very special prices .. Thank you, Ian.

What GBs do not need is someone with no GB experience and with no appreciation of the work involved in running a GB to be constantly buying into the process with ignorant and useless suggestions.

Might I suggest that your energies would be better spent over on the "Dipstick" thread ???

I want it sooner rather than later.
If the target order was 50, l would be waiting.
The target has been met, so l want to know that the order has been placed and items are deliverable, otherwise the group buy turns into a group wait.
I don't believe I am being impatient if I have waited for the target to be reached.

The spec / price does not improve if the size of the order increases (am I wrong?)

FYI, I received a PM from Ian on 5th Feb about GBs.
Why don't you ask him to tell you what's in the last sentence.

I am attempting to hurry this GB along because of what he told me.
Group Buy, not Group Wait.

As you say, GBs require effort by the organiser, so why don't you say something helpful like suggesting that everyone who wants in on the GB place themselves on the list to save the GB organiser that extra bit of effort going through the thread.
Maybe GBs should have a rule that if you're not IN the list, you're NOT IN the GB.

PS: You may leave this thread since you already excused yourself at the start.
Would the next person who updates the list that Frysie was good enough to start, please place themselves in position #3
