hey, im just wondering if anyone knows where to buy 300zx keys from, my car didnt come with a spare so im lookin for a couple of blank copies so i cant take them down to my mates n get them cut. Thanks Will
I've tried the nissan dealership they only got Nissan keys, i've got one at the moment that reads "300ZX" on the side of it. I hav'nt seen any of this sort anywhere, not even on ebay.

lol thanks, you seem to be on here all the time, do you not work? yeah, thats the chap i want, hmmm well mine atm, the teeth are nearly gone on it, i was gonna replace the original and use the one i had as a back up then just get a standard Nissan key cut from Bunnings as ma spare. thanks for the quick reply. i got my spare key blank from a Nissan spare parts dealer... just tell them you want a key blank for the z32... it's about $9 or so, it's the same as the one in the pics above.
i'm at work now.. now whether i do any work when im here.. thats another story.... but.. sadly... in the next few months i shall be leaving my "day time living on the the forumness"... it will be missed....
ah ok cool. i may just order a few of the above, in each color, they say they fit 1990-1996, but mines a 1989? proberbly a stupid question, but they need asking...
Im pretty sure the black is the master key and the red is the valet key, apparently it cant open boot or glovebox or something. Im not sure as ive only got the black one.
my copy of my old red one can only start the car. i was lucky it could even do that though it was so bent and ground down.

I got them.. From my nissan spare parts.. the actual 300zx key (balck with 300zx engraved in teh side) and then took it to the locksmith, gave them my key code and they cut a copy
The Nissan 50th Anniversary Edition key was teh sex when it was brand new. I have one that came with my 89T but it doesn't shine like this uncut key anymore sadly. It's rumoured that there are still some around hidden in Nissan dealerships across the globe, or fetching stupid prices on ebay. I think the last one I saw went for $300USD or something crazy.

I purchased one off ebay ! Dont do it , as i got mine cut off the original nissan 300zx key. Now the ebay one ! :vomit: the shaft of key was thicker and couldn't + wouldnt work properly at all ! So i just put that one down to " Lesson Learnt " .
i'm lucky enough to get the original titanium key with my car. but i've also bought both oem spare keys off ebay. just in case
