what a rediculous topic, go to justcars or the racv website, put in your details and get an online estimate.. no one here will be the same age as you, live in the same place, have the same car or the same traffic infringement history so its completely irrelevant how much anyone else pays.

    :whatever:

I was quoted $4600 for full comp. TT (import). Rating 2, no claims.

Mines about $900 full comp (should be cheaper next payment as it's been dropping each year), TT, Rating 1 and this renewal should put me on Rating 1 for life, no claims all through NRMA. I'm 23.

Get yourself a cup of coffee, sit down and type 'insurance' into Search. Then you can spend the next 5 hours reading all the hits. There is a wealth of info there, and some strange outcomes too.

The only bad thing about Shannons is that they wont even look at you if you are under 25... Apparently a 24 year old can't be a 'motoring enthusiast'... just a hoon ;)

Lucky for me I just turned 25 :D So i'll have to re-assess my options.

Not to mention you have to have a lockable 4 sided garage that the car is to be stored in other wise they wont look at you.
