Hey, Earlier today i posted up about my car not starting. Upon inspection tonight i realised that the starter motor has snapped off the bellhouseing!!! Im looking for a second hand one or one thats not working to swap the internals over (or just use if its a second hand one that works). Im not sure though entirly what im looking for. My car is a NA manual. Will the starter be the same on this as it is in the Auto's? Further that i believe that the maxima came out with the vg30 also. Is it okay to use a starter motor off one of them if the manual is the same as the auto (i would imagin there are not to many manual maximas going around) Thanks heaps! Josh
I'm pretty sure the Maxima Starter will be identical. Same engine slightly detuned. Just bought Maxima Radiator for my NA-exactly the same+ heaps cheaper.
