fark that... what about the fact that hes driving at 300kph AND filming by hand while driving????? OMG wtf! how is he not dead? Held the cam on the speedo quite well. Which tells me he was consentrating on the camera/speedo possibly more than he was on the road. mental
330ZX has been posted heaps. nice colour, nice engine bay, everything else total rice. it has tiny stock brakes ffs. That clip is just your typical HPI video which caters to noobs who know jack shit about cars.
i call BS. 300km speedo on 180k resistor and 4th gear. That didn't actually look that fast judging if the truck was doing around 100-120. There are a number of people who can comment on here I'm sure who have at one stage done in the high 200's, under controlled conditions of course, and it looks a fair bit quicker than that.
I also call BS at the 300km/h thing. As for the 330zx thing. There were a few things that I liked, but not many. For the most part it was just pure rice. Although, it sounded hot - I'll give him that. I guess if that's his dream car and he's happy with it, then good on him.
No way at all I have done 300kph NOT in the Z but on motorbikes and cars just do not do that at all with out a lots of horsepower 800plus. Watch how quick the speedo is moving most cars / medium bikes hit a wall at 260kph and ever kph after that takes a lot of time. cheers Mark.
i've done 240km/h before and it definantly felt faster than that, but it always will when you're in the car as opposed to watching a compressed video on youtube
would you have been able to hold a video cam steady on your speedo while you did it though? That's what I find stunning. I've only once maxed out my 180kph speedo and I sure as hell was only glancing at the speedo when changing gears. my eyes were on the ...."track" as was my concentration. And no I wasn't AIMING to max out the speedo. More a case of about to redline and change into the next gear and looked down and thought "SHIT" and then backed RIGHT off. This is NOT something I make a habbit of

If that was 180 klm/hr speedo. Even a stock TT would be way past 180klms/hr faster than he was accelerating. He was struggling to get to 300. So its not a 180klm speedo without a resistor. My TT flys past 180 and leaves it in the dust very very fast during acceleration. You can just see the end of the tacho needle. It looks like its at about 6000 revs. AFAIK 6000 revs on a stock TT diff in 5th is only about 260-270 klms/hr. So I think his speedo is way out at high speed. Still fast but not 300.
