This thread is going one of two ways. 1) everything seems to come together slowly, then you wake up one morning and realise you just need to start it and its done OR 2) youll power through the build, encountering hurdles that will make you question your will to live, yet not slowing you the slightest. Regardless of the path, the destination will be the same. Sheer awesomeness. Watching this thread like a hawk.
well today was the day it all began. chris and me loved it when we saw this. 2JZ WTF? STAGE ONE COMPLETE.
Bit of a clean up and sat motor and box in to see where things are going Mounts are really close so they will be easy to make. using gen3 mounts sump needs a notch out of it to clear x member. shifter is just about bang on to stock location. might need very small mod to front of sump to clear sway bar but so far looks like it will clear. no problems height wise heaps of room. rad going to use aly na one as cant go to thick but can go wider. oil filter may need relocation kit. Anyway pics below...
