Nope just turn up and pay your fee. Say you're with AUS300 and they'll send you to our private staging lane.

For those with unregistered cars: I have been advised by Ray Treasure (venue & events manager at Sydney dragway) that unregistered cars simply need to present to scrutineering as normal. There are no additional certifications or safety checks required.

A caveat -I have told Ray that the handful of non-registered cars had been built to run in CAMS events as opposed to being unroadworthy clunkers. John & Shane you guys will be fine, anyone else planning to run a non-registered car please apply some common sense or contact ms directly with any queries.

Actually does anyone have access to a pair of 17's I can borrow for this?

Wider the better of course and I can strip them if need be.

I'm keen to enter. I've only got shitty 16 inch drift tyres to use but at least it'll be fun frying them all day.

Information below regarding the "AUS300" staging lane

Thank you for your enquiry. We have booked your lane reservation for June 29 as requested under the name “AUS300”.

For lane reservation on a Wednesday night Race 4 Real event, or Sunday Street Meet, we prefer to keep to a maximum 20-25 cars. This is due to the geographical restriction imposed by the relevant staging lane… and the likelihood that other assigned lanes, hopefully, will be full.

We’ve made the process as easy as possible:

? There is no fee other than the normal $55 competitor entry fee, payable on entry through Gate 14
? Choose a pit space and complete your entry form while still in the pit area
? Take your COMPLETED entry form and drivers licence – on-foot – to Registration
? Your lane reservation participants should each advise the Registration and Scrutineering officials that they are part of the “AUS300” lane reservation
? Once your paperwork is approved and a wristband has been issued, then collect your car and bring it around for Scrutineering.

Please note: When drivers bring their car straight to scrutineering, then go and stand in a queue for Registration, you can imagine the traffic gridlock it creates. Everyone gets blocked and no one goes anywhere. So, please do the paperwork first, then scrutineering, then head into the staging lanes ready for racing.

It would help if each of your members could write your lane reservation name (AUS300) on their entry forms, before they get to Registration. That will ensure no one is missed and assigned to a different lane.
