9:30am Alan Norton and I met up at Tooraweenah crossroads and traveled together to Dubbo.
We arrived in town at 10:50 and had enough time for a splash and dash at the carwash. We met up at the tourist info center and waited there for 40 mins for any one else to turn up. We thought we were the only ones to commit, so we decided to go for a drive down the main street and have lunch at Macas.
While driving the main drag we passed davewatson. He did a U turn and we met up at Macas. We parked our cars together in the carpark.
First time we had a chance to see a 94 slicktop. Nice car and very well presented.
We chatted in the carpark and swapped notes for 1/2hr, then moved into the restaurant as it was quite a warm day.
We noticed the number of people walking past our cars and having a good look and commenting. :) Not bad for 16-20 year old cars.
We then took off to the cricket grounds for a photo Op.

It was good day and great to meet other Zeders and generate some more interest.
Maybe a small gettogether, but its a start.

Below are the photos of the day. Enjoy

Looks like a nice enough day for it. It's always fun having people gawk at the cars. ESPECIALLY given that they are as old as they are.

You look like you all had fun.

    Thanks. We sure did.
Would have been nice to have a few more.
Apparently there are 4-5 more cars around the Dubbo area. I'd like to meet them and maybe build a culture like you guys have up there.
Might try another town next time like Parkes or Orange and see what happens.

The red hatch zed reminds me of those organic bananas that have been dipped in red wax.:br:

Its still in the process of restoration.
The interior is immaculate, A strong relable heart ( still being dressed).
The red hatch is in better condition than the original silver one.
Are you suggesting he paint it yellow and call it "The Organic Zed" :)
It wasn't that far back where yours was undecided between silver and vinyl ;)
BTW the black wheels look good.

HAHAHA!!! he needs to paint it yellow and then do the rear bar and rear quarters in red.

    Thus immitating this:
