I'm sorry but there's nothing remotely special about your car. That's why people didn't vote for it. Stop being a sore loser. Many members didn't get in. We don't see them having a sook.
once again i will repeat myself, this is not about my car this is about the other cars that were picked. So put your glasses on when u want to voice ure opinion.
Each person who bought a calender got a vote....there is no fairer way to select the cars, therefore there is no reason you should be complaining.
... congratulations on an excellent job, Andrew ... .. you have achieved what we were all looking for, 12 top zed pics .... .. my apologies for not getting to vote ... but i am happy with the voting outcome ...
I disagree, your wheels are awesome! Thankyou Andrew, you have done an outstanding and thoughtful job of getting this all happening. Also thankyou for all that took the time to vote for their favourite Zeds as well as mine. Looking forward to the final print!
Well done on the whole voting process - was simple, fair and is a great way of advertising our forum and the great cars we drive. Was happy that 8 of my 12 votes made it, I'm sure when I see the final product it will inspire me to get my car ready for the next calendar! To those that had a sook about sponsored 300ZX's making it into the calendar, a quick search of the internet shows it's common - you wingers just make our forum look like a bunch of... well, wingers! Get over it.
I only see one post opposed to the advertising issue(a view, which incidentally, I don't share)so I think your comments are slightly out of order. Get over it yourself.
man all this over shit from sooks who's cars didnt make it into an aus300zx calender. pathetic. go fix your zeds, modify or repair them untill you are happy, as in dont go with the crowd, do what YOu think looks good and enter next year. if you still dont get in, be happy your so passionate about your zed and that you an individual. but the utter shit fighting and all round sookyness is something to be laughed about. honestly guys, you should be ashamed. andrew did this FOR the forum, not the money, and if i were him, id really reconsider ever doing this again. :lame:
Andrew You've done a great job, and when we last spoke on email a while back I know how you wanted me to enter my car, but like anything I didn't had any good shots and hence never drive the car. Saying that a great picture does make a difference in a calender, you may have a totally modified car and with no real good photos of it, it wouldn't be worth entering and that's why I did not enter, there's always next year for everyone. Good Job Andrew Regards Theo
haha sorry... no not really. just the last post and i forgot to delete your quote no beef with you chili haha.. we have the same views from what im reading
Stupid question in relation to the photos that are to be used. There was 4 or so of each car that was open to the vote, will all the photo's be used or just one? Some photos were much better than others... And WTF! No camo ute Zed!?! What are people thinking!
Personally I'd like to see that ute up close, would be curious about the ride quality Any Z is a good Z :zlove: The images were meant to sample what you could see in the calendar, which is why I wanted 4, not 50 from each person. But now I have a top 12, the most suited combination of those 12 cars pictures will be used. That way we dont have pictures of the cars from all the same angle etc... Cheers
I'd like to know more about that Z .... Made my final 15, but then I had to chop 3 out. I cut the camo ute out because there were some visible areas of execution that could be improved on, plus it needs different wheels IMO. Perhaps a machine gun or 2 need to be mounted as well . Interesting concept though!
Totally pointless What I was trying to say Chili was that most of the first page of this thread was dedicated to comments from and in response to Steven and Romonski, instead of celebrating the great calendar that has been produced. I fail to see how my comments are 'out of order' when I'm trying to point out that having a car in the calendar with it's own sponsorship is not a big deal - backed up by the pictures I had in my original post showing it can easily be found in other car calendars. Still not sure what I have to 'get over' either, as it would appear we have the same opinion... ... a well-organised and democratic voting system produced a high-quality calendar featuring some of the best 300ZX's in the country, thanks to Andrew's vision and commitment.
