So who's in? haha We were talking over the weekend and we are going to be back in force no doubt. Its nice to take a year off so people are in awe of your car and not just saying 'oh yeah.. I remember that one last year' So who's up for it? We already have Ideas ticking over about the theme and the set up but we will be interested in numbers. No offence to people as we all love zeds here but we don't (especially going off that Melbourne thread) don't feel a 'clean stock zed' should really be entered not because its not a good car in its own right... but because it just looks stupid up against all the other cars there.. vs or vs So we will be thinking there might have to be some basic mods done at least. IE: Bodykit/Lowered, After market rims and so forth. Again not here to piss off those who love the stock look its just not the right competition for clean stockers. So who is seriously interested and seriously will have a car ready within a year?
Who said ur organising this lol Me me *puts up hand* Seriously, we will hopefully be after a large amount of enterants for next year, even though this post came up 1 day after this years autosalon lol People from over east are obviously more than welcome as we dont want to limit the show to Perth zeds only, but we do understand its a long trip over and $$ just for 1 weekend, but its pretty much a 1 year notice to anyone who is willing to enter Would love some of the high HP project zeds to enter as well, Waztted, Lysergic, Zrated, Minivan, Mattz, in no particular order, to really show what our cars are made of, obviously if they are willing to enter and have finished their cars, but yeh But yeh theme has alrady been discussed somewhat Cut-off date will probably be early next year so I can discuss it with Alisa the championship manager for salon, and discuss other show related events, anyone keen hehe
I think we talk to her in the next month and see if we can book 12 spots or something big for next year.. get in hell early and get a good spot.. she knows we have good ideas and a good display and should be happy to accommodate for us. Na man, WA zeds only I think.. everywhere else has their own comp. this is ours... I want that friggen trip to Sydney and not for some tarp and a few rolls of gaffa... lol ahh crap.. mods change the poll so we can see whos voting lol my bad
i think that we need to have a group meeting between the interested partys as early as possible.......i would like to enter, its just a matter of wether or not i can pull it all together in time..... with regards to the theme, some people have already organised a few bits and pieces which we can use, but the theme needs to be discussed and agreed upon by all(or at least a good majority) of the entrants....that being i like what we have but i think we should be open to other themes as well and pick the best....
All sounds good After seeing Ak's on sumday i spent about an hour sitting in my Zed thinking about what i could do to enter and not look out of place. I don't want a full blown show car like Ak's so when the meeting is sheduled i would love some opinions on what to focus on etc. But definatley intertested.
yeh count me in, will have the car ready by then. not much more i can do anyway after this TT conversion. will andrew (minivan) be ready by then? his zed must be bloody close by now. i want simmo to enter the dyno just to put people in their places with the power these cars are capable of.
im in, she wont be a pure show car in that time frame but she'll be pretty sweet looking.... defiantly get some of the big HP zeds in there for the dyno... put the V* bogans to shame
well thats what we need to sit down and work out... I mean clean cars that pump out big HP would be good to have in there along side the bling-bus would be good too. Mickey and I will sit down soon with Alisa and work out what we can do size wise which will determine how many cars we can/want in the show and go from there. Jaybo and I were talking about having a free show and shine some time this summer with all the local clubs which is when we would want alllll the cars out in their sunday bests. This way we can all show off our sexy rides even if not at salon
the trick will be.... the trick will be the same as always, we want to have the best quality entrants at the show, and we will only be allowed to have a limited number of cars at the salon so we will have to develop some sort of criteria (amongst ourselves) and pick out the standout cars.....for 2009 i expect we will have more people wanting to enter than we are allowed as a club but i spose we will see.......
we will have to have a bbq some time and talk about it... I say 1 of each colour... YES! I'm in by defult! haha
I think it will be good to enter Motovation as a club and have everyone from the club there, even if the cars aren't show quality, they don't have to be.
