Hey, Just wondering if you have the 2000 model front bar, where abouts you got it from? did you get it painted and fit it yourself? $$$? and are you happy with the quality or the make? I smashed my front bar ( ) and figured if im spending $1000 to get it fixed why not go for a bit of an update. I have used the search and could not find much. Im a little bit cautious of talking off the std bar to replace it with a fiberglass one that i hear are prone to cracking. Im in sydney, would be good to hear from anyone though. Thanks, Josh
Spend the extra money if you can and get a urethane bar. I just picked up my stillen type-3 urethane skirts and there is no way they are cracking any time soon. Bonus is you get a lifetime warranty on any of their parts if they ever crack. If the 2000spec front bar is plastic, it would be a good upgrade and you wont regret spending the extra money now rather than later on repairs for a glass bar. From what I have seen, all the 2000spec bars are finished well.
Dont happen to know... You dont happen to know where i can pick up a 2000spec urethane bar by any chance? Would not mind getting some prices and comparing...
2nded! I bought my 2k front bar from TTZED with the indicators Great service Only problem I can see is... how do I plug the new indicators into the old wiring loom ???? sorry to threadjack, but don't want to break anything. Fate
No worries bout the hijack..haha...im going to be in the same boat soon... Im sold already...hahaha just ordered it from TTZED just then. Managed to get one in urathane, with indicators delivered to my door cheaper than it was to get a fiberglass one locally!! Cant wait!!! Im off to brisbane for the rest of the week but early next week will be trying to get the indicators on also...so keep me posted on how you go
Another hijacking - I just was lookin on TTZ website and price for 2000 spec skirts are almost $2k each???!!! And the note on the item says : yes price is correct... Surely he can't expect to sell many of them??? :s
okay... One person hijacking is okay...this is just silly now...hahaha nahh its all good just jokes hahaha... Yeah i liked the comment "yes that is the correct price" i suppose they are selling them for a % proffit of what they are getting them and they must be an expensive item. I cant believe that they are so expensive compared the the front bar though (including lights and all). Would like to comment on TTZED also and say how good they have been (so far, the bar hasn't arrived yet hehehe)...30 mins turn around on any enquiries!!

its weird though, i've found on some bmw's etc. when looking at bodykits, the sideskirts have in some instances been the most expensive thing. strange world out there
