Hi there guysI am thinking of buying a cheapy digital camera, and have seen a Kodak 6200 for a good price, its a 2megapixel model. What I want to know is if 2 megapixel would give me a high enough resolution to say make a wall paper for windows and stuff like that?Or should I save some more and get a 3 or 4 megapixel?RegardsMark

For all PC viewing a 2megapixel camera is OK

Most PC pics, wallpaper etc are very low 72dpi resolution. Go for a 2mp camera if thats all you're doing. But, here's a tip. Look for a digicam that has OPTICAL zoom... ie my Panasonic is 2.1mp but has 3X OPTICAL zoom, so it's virtually the same as a 3mp with only 2xOPTICAL zoom.Don't get confused with DIGITAL zoom ... it's bullshit. Digital zoom is like trimming off the excess around yr pic ... you do that anyway during EDIT.Look at simplicity.... my Panasonic has beaut software, easy to use and it stores pics on removable media.Kodak is good.... just compare the OPTICAL zoom, storage facility, and software (if u can).
