heyy guys curious to know what the diffrence is if i was to get an X-pipe compared to having a 2.5" exhaust with no cross overs coming from catback. have new mufflers to be fitted on wanting to know what would be best, rest of exhasut is going to remain stock for now cheers
I doubt weather you'll notice any performance difference between x pipe or no xpipe, mainly used to combat drone...
xpipe from UAS can be had for $300 - $400, if you can get your hands on a magnaflow one through daves GB's thatd probably work out cheaper. installation varies depending on if your putting anything else on so I'd say $100 - $300
ahh i was meant to say sound sorry lol any difference in the note, make it more deeper even note, does it reduce drone
i have mufflers i brought from dave in the GP, didnt have nough finances at the time to get both lol, can you buy UAS X pipe pre made ready to be welded straight on
apparently they do, thats why ive got my one sitting here in my room.. i bought mine through the last group buy, its a magnaflow and was $199
yea wish i had of brought a set. i have the magnaflow mufflers jsut need to figure out x piping if or not to get it
Does, also increases performance on an NA with the scavenge effect Dont even bother with the UAS one, too expensive for what it is, if you want an x-pipe go with the magnaflow or better still is the Merge Pipe from Sureflow http://www.surefloexhaust.com.au/xpipe.htm Had this on my old NA, worked awesome Shits all over an X-Pipe
Also look at the Magnaflow "Tru X-Crossover" as seen here: http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/02xypipes.asp These were not posted in the GB thread. They are just a merge unlike the others like the UAS style which has the muffler/resonator around it. Very similar internals to the Sureflow Merge. Here is a pic of mine showing the insides, how smooth the radius' are
cheers for all the input, think i will get an x pipe will this be what i need, will i have to change the cat? http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/shopexd.asp?zone=main&id=9114?
