Z32 4 seater Auto with just under 200K. One owner since imported in '97.
I'm almost 65 with too many stiff joints to keep folding/unfolding getting in and out of my pride and joy.

Wheels shown in pics are 17" alloys fitted with Ultra HPR 235/40R 17 front and 255 on rear. Every day use wheels are 200SX rims with Yokahama C Drive 225/50R 16, two of which are brand new.

Has new H/duty battery and registered in Qld till early June 2008
2 volume workshop manuals. I commuted from the Sunshine Coast to Brisbane for nearly two years so half the K's were highway running. Has been regularly serviced, auto is smooth as silk.

Has a single disc MP3 player given as a birthday present which goes with the vehicle. Also on offer is my iMate Pocket PC phone which has a satellite navigation programme. Cradle, antennas and all peripherals are fitted and system has performed well.

All round, - an above average car that has been well loved, and still out accelerates your average not-yet-25 rev head's rod from a standing start if we are both at the front waiting for a light change.

Any suggestions for what I can expect to get for my Red Zed?

Keep it! It will keep you young!!

    Dear Wombat,

Dont sell such a treasure, it will really keep you young. Sell it and you will wither away, a sad and lonely old man. Do some regular exercise and your joints will be fine or if not - just take very long drives in the Z and you wont have to get in and out so often!

I am 67 and have a white 1989 Z with my son and last week I bought a brand new Alfa Brera 3.2 V6 to go with it. I feel like 47 already! Just took the Z for some new tyres today and hooned it down the M1 - gave me a great appetite for dinner and got the missus nervous! Will take the Alfa to the coast tomorrow and see if I can still charm some young chicks. Never know your luck in a white Z or a red A.

So stick with it young fellow ( if you have to sell you might get $14K and what use is that to a 64 year old?)

    Cheers

    iMate Navigation

Yeah, maybe, but do you want a fancy phone (PDA) or does the navigation bit interest you?
It's on offer as an incentive to buy the car, I don't really want to de-install it, and would sell it if the 'new owner' doesn't want it.

    Keep it??

Thanks for the sage advice. Just being called a young fellow has done wonders for me. Unfortunately, this Wombat has been burrowing in vain for pay dirt for retirement, so 14K sounds good.
Enjoy your drive tomorrow you Chick Magnet, you.

think that you may have been wrestling way too

many momma wombats if you are shagged at "almost" 65 .. i am the same age, have had black bess for 2 years and will be driving her to my last rites ceremony ... lol..

check the zeds for sale section ... i think that $14,000 is a bit high for a zed with 200kkms .. reckon that you would be looking at $8-10,000 max, depending on what work has been done on it ...

Thanks for the input Black Baz

I'd be a little disappointed with that considering there is a full 12 months rego, 2 new tyres, spare set of alloy wheels with rubber and a new battery. Be that as it may, I have asked for input and I appreciate your reply. Thanks.
