just trying to clear some space in the garage at the moment. have a 1990 2+2 twin turboo auto. its been off the road for 5 years now so its time to clear the garage. initially in 2001 the turbo blew and then subsequently the timing belt got the teeth torn off. this required extensive repair work which was expensive and ended up taking alot longer than was initially thought and as such i have lost interest in the project and it has sat there. The car itself has 90km on the clock and the following features met silver 300kph speedo full body kit with side skirts, door spats, front and rear bar and F40 rear wing Blitz ECU and turbo timer HKS super drager exhaust which combines into one large muffler at the rear momo steering wheel pod air filter 4 brand new 245/45/17 bridgestone RE711 potenza all round chrome 17 inch Volk/Rays 3 piece racing alloys uniden alarm mechanically i have receipts for around $4000 dollars for such things as the 2 turbos being fully rebuilt, heads reconditioned, complete engine gasket set, cam and crank seals, timing belt and pulleys, crank sprocket, injector insulators and o rings, injector and numerous other electrical plugs, water pump and thermostat, all front belts, alternator reconditioned and numerous other things around the engine. last time the engine was running was about 1 and a half years ago, i last tried to start it a month ago and the engine just turned over without starting, im not sure what the problem is but i think its something to do with the fuel most likely. for one reason or another the car hasnt been on the road for around 6 years. once the engine was fixed the gearbox was put on incorrectly and ended up damaging the oil pump or torque converter on the G/Box so another reason to further sit in the garage. along with the mechanical problems the body kit had a few cracks in it so i decided to repair those and while i was at it repaint the entire car. not that it needed it but just to make sure thatt the colour of the body kit matched that of the body i thought it was a good idea. the car and the body kit as it stands is primed sanded and ready to go to a booth for painting. i have 3 1/2 litres of nissan met silver basecoat along with 4 liters of clear coat and accompaning hardeners and thinners. as it is it wouldnt take much finishing, just alittle enthusiasm to have a mean looking Z which i idont have, im throwing in another twin turbo engine and two more auto G/Boxes in with the deal. im looking for around $8000 for everything. im not sure what the going rate is but considering the cars complianced, what the car comes with (extra engine, G/box and wheels ,B/Kit etc) and the $4000 dollars ive spent just on parts i dont think its unreasonable. im not too sure how to upload photos at the moment so ill have to email some pics to any interested parties. also i can be called on 0404605860 cheers
