Item: 1985 nissan 300zx manual Location: sunshine coast Item Condition: good for its age Reason for Selling: dont have the funds to fix it Price and Payment Conditions: $900ono Extra info i bought it about 3 months ago and planned to use it as a daily for when i get my p's, so before i bought it i had a mechanic look over it and he said it was in pretty good nic, and told me it would only need miner things to pass road worthy, the things he said were new wheels and tires, new steering wheel and top radiator hoses. so i bought it and started saving for the parts and when i got all the stuff that i was told to get i booked it in for an other rwc check. and now i was told that it needs a reco on the motor and rear calipers and new brake lines. i would love to keep it and fix it myself but i just dont have the money or time. as im only on my l's and i need something to drive now so i can get my hours up. the body is in good condition and the gearbox and clutch are very strong. the car would suit someone looking for a project. they are great for v8 and rb conversion aswell as 2jz conversions as they have a massive engine bay. nah sorry mate thanks for the offer but i havent had much interest as it is.. so i dont think anyone would want it when it has no gearbox and pedals etc
Have you compression tested the cylinders? No one wants a broken Z31 NA with heaps of problems that would cost a 4-5 grand to fix for $900 anyway. NA gearboxes aren't exactly the strongest.
would barely call 2 things heaps of problems (reco on engine and rear calipers) and as for costing 4-5 grand to fix been quated 2500-3000 for it to have the reco's done. and as for the na gearboxes not being the strongest its an n/a car so why would it need a stronger gearbox its not making 300hp or anything ridiculous.

nah doesnt run cause battery is flat but it used to run before but really rough and unreliably. the wheels are not going to be sold with the car at this price if you bring some to swap over can lower the price abit more, saves me spendin money buying some to swap over. if your interested give me a call man we can sort somthin out. cheers nick
