Yeah not a fan at all.... You can only go soo much dish before it starts looking like a try-hard matchbox car...
Nope, that's a yank tank alright. ...and no, they don't have the same wheel/tyre restrictions that we have over here.
aaaaaaahhhhhh so is that why my old nexens N3000's would let go in the wet with ease? They're a great bang for buck tyre in the dry, but in the wet the rear end sometimes tried to leave a junction before the front, with very little help from the right foot.
SSR AD's 18x10.5 +4 w/ 3.5* of camber with 235 18x12 +12 w/ 1.9* of camber with 265 thats some serious size and offset rims
275 is pretty common, definately fit them on a 10 inch wide, might be a bit fat on a 9.5 .... a mate of mine is running 10.5 rears on a 180sx running 295/18 rears. it looks sweet and why not a couple more pics of the whole car for those interested.... xD rb25det gtr throttle bodies etc etc....
I'm running NEXEN N6000's(beautiful wide grooved centre tread)with 235/40/18(8" width rim)on the front and NEXEN N6000's 265/35/18(8.5 width rim)on the rear. I have never experienced any serious loss of traction/grip in either wet or dry using N3000's and these N6000's have a superior tread pattern and improved(grippier)rubber compound(but it should be said that I tend to drive "to the prevailing road conditions" and not to my imagined F1 expertise.:br:
i run 275's on the rears with 9.5" rim & fits fine (will have to check offset) wet weather can get a little hairy, new ku36's and a couple of hundred extra HP are goona make things interesting
I love the stance, the style of the star isnt the best.but still looks hot,iv got 12''s front and back but i cant roll my guards to fit.heres a pick before my widebody. http://img140.imageshack.us/i/310720102520.jpg/
it's all personal taste i guess I can't stand seeing the edge of the wheel clear of the rubber. And stretched rubber also. It just screams "duh my tyres dont fit" BUT as I've said 100 times over, personal taste is what makes the car scene what it is
the shaved side is stock. if you buy US spec front guards there is no hole for a indicator. the initial batch of yankee zeds did have side indicators but after say 93 i think none of them had it. the wheel setup looks like ass btw. hellaflush is poser spec IMO.
trav that's the quick release boss which flips up so you can get out easily. pretty fail since it's not caged and it's not that hard to get out.
personally i love it, it might be a bit over the top but its got our attention and i bet the owner wanted just that personally i love this zed we should start a thread to post pics of zeds that we think are the best examples out there
Ah cool....would look good on some Oz Zs , reckon you could get away with it as well since the front indicators curve around enough to be visible from the side...its the reason some R32 GTRs (like mine did) get through the import process without having guard indicators installed, bit of a grey area. Cheers, Craig
