VIC 14/10/11: tangcla photoshoot night

Hi all,
Looking at organising a photoshoot night some time towards the end of October, would this suit everyone?

Cost is $70 per car, for 6-8 photos emailed digitally after the shoot.
Location/backdrop to be confirmed, but most likely the plain grey wall (as per the R35 GTR photos below)

Post in here if you're able to make it, or if you'd like to come but on a different day.

Some previous examples of what I do:

 

I might be interested in coming but only to watch my Z is no way near photoshoot ready and Its not finished yet.

 

If im off work that day I will definitely be there, probably with a friends car aswell as we wanna get a double photoshoot if his car is ready by that time.

I always wondered how you got the almost cartoonish look and colours in your photos Tancla.

Then I read about HDR, and it all became clear.

HDR photography is amazing. I've got a decent camera+gear, i'm just not good enough on photoshop to do anything with it :rofl:

 

I actually don't use HDR or any digital manipulation of that sort in any of my photos - they are all single exposure, straight off the camera. If you're coming along, you can have a look at the back of my camera - it's right there for you to see.

Can I ask what camera you have and what lens you are using? Any internal sharpening or correction?

I am not picking on your photos which look great.

Just really interested in your technique.

 

My gear list is in my signature.

Slight adjustments (mainly crop/rotate) but nothing to alter the original image. A few who have been to my shoots have seen the back of the camera.

 

Looks like light painting, in principle pretty simple to do, just takes a lot of practice to get really good at it.
