Ethanol problem is overheating

Ethanol burns quite a bit hotter than petrol, which is the problem. I guess that the slightly different density and viscosity could change the performance of injectors but have not heard of it before.

ethanol runs cool ask any body running methanol if they have probs with intercoolers icing up :zlove:

10% ethanol is nothing to worry about , if anything it raises the octane by a few points and decreases detonation via its cooling effect as well.

13.7 even though you said 14.2.. either way still absolutely terrible considering you have 310kw.. my old auto zed ran 13.5 with 206 rwkw

 

12.6 with 210rwkw + auto for me (if you believe dyno results)

 

I've never been down the 1/4 in my zed, but i've estimated that I could do a sub 12 pass
