The prices are definitely good.
Tough question there mate on the install fee's. It depends on how much your mechanic loves you. The job is usually a motor out, turbo swap, then motor in job. So it can vary. Where about are you based? As I would recommend you contact a mechanic near by who is fairly familiar with the VG30DETT and get a quote. Otherwise save some coin by holding a tech day, get some Zedders together, have some fun and get a few grey hairs in the process.

Well not really a lot, more like a little.

Oil return hose rubs on steering rack
Bolts cross threaded on compressor. because of wrong bolt thread used.
Cant get a transmission bolt in because of the oil fitting on the block.
And the actuators were slightly unbalanced.

Thats about it. Nothing too serious, but annoying.

 

How long ago did you purchase kit??

 

Sydney, although like the engine conversion, I found it cheaper to actually drive up to QLD just because of the labor cost difference compared to down here, had a holiday and saved money on top of that which it would have cost me down here.

Sorry mate, also, had a look on the Z1 website and can only see the 2.5" dumps? Either way get a group buy price on them and the AMS ones (see which one can give a better deal)
