just a helmet and long sleeve t-shirt .. that it get a second hand one for cash converters , it must be adr approved you will see the label on the inside of the helmet ... good man ... you need to be at the meeting place at 630 am , so give your self heaps of time ...
hey alex... have u got a passenger with u on the day? actually , i am not really good at driving the zed..u know, the new zed owner. might easily cause accident.. can i just sit next to u on the day? i'll pay the extra fees.. if not, i might show up and just have a look... thanks anyway..
sorry man im gonna have my missus with me on the day but when shes not in there im going to be testing the car out so i really need to concentrate and be by myself. you'll be with the rest of us all the way up so you should be fine. it will be a good opportunity for you to learn your car and put it through its paces.
What is the weather looking like? Also, what happens if your arrive a little late for the drivers meeting?
why the hell r u guys going up so early wtf. i think i may be coming to this but i guess ill just meet u guys there takes 3hrs to get there so ill prob leave bout 8ish get there before middayish... there is scrutening all day so i think middayish till close will be heaps of track time for me anyway......
Looks Like I Won't Be Going. Sorry :sorry: I'm pulling out the weather is going to be wet, and I have only just managed to clean and dry the car out from the last track day. Have fun guys.
Don't worry mate I'm in the same boat. 1st time on track (in a Zed) and if it's Raining I won't be going. No use going all the way up there to cruise around well inside "the envelope" on a wet track!!
Im going to take my spyder, and will prob head up a little later. might aim to get there around 10am.
it's gonna be a wet and cold day by the looks of it, who's still going? since it's wet can we drift instead?
i'm still going. don't think they'll let you drift but they'd have to be abit more of towards accidental drifting. still need a lift Mike? you can take my car out for a session if you want.
Don't be too concerned about the rain, as long as you are sensible you can still get around pretty quickly in the wet. Most of the corners have good safe run off areas so you won't do any expensive damage if you get it wrong as long as you pick your spots to go hard and where to take it easier. Wet tracks are also a great equalizer for lower powered cars...
my tyres are down to the canvas. they'll barely last the trip up there let alone track time. also i'm badly broke for the next fortnight. can't afford tyres and the fuel to drive that far. i'll fill u in on the rest on sat.
I aint going, I got the car back together and the clutch is slipping. I havent had time to adjust it and the weather looks crap. Next time.
