One was attending the cruise (the camry) the one in front was just a typical "hills" driver. btw, I had a great time. Love driving the hills.

    Gr8 day

Well this was my first run and I have to say, hubby and I had a great time. It was certainly a long day as we live in Two Rocks and we were pretty stuffed by the time we rolled back into the driveway after 7:30pm that night but well worth it. We found everyone to be very friendly and we're definitely in for the next run. It was wonderful to give my old gal and good drive and see how well she went after all the work Tom from PZP did for me. She ran like a dream I'm glad to say. Thanks heaps for spending the time organising this run Ross, I know from being a member in another club that these things take a heap of time with not much appreciation in return sometimes. I'm sure the majority enjoyed it as much as we did. I haven't been down the zig-zag for years and it was great to see Gooseberry Hill again too, love that spot.....

aaahhhh you guys are form Two Rocks?

We should do a NOR country roads run some time I reakon. Maybe I'll organise it.

I used to Live in Yanchep (St Andrews). Love some nice slow coast road up there still, and could push on through North or 2 rocks, to Waneroo road, then down GinGin brook road, and back down the highway.

Roos and stone chips are the issues, not to mention the highway being a little bumpy if you're not used to it... but some nice roads none the less.

Would most certainly "wake up" the sleepy town of 2 rocks :D

    Well done Ross

Thanks Ross for organizing a really good day, I thoroughly enjoyed the whole cruise.

I had never been to the ZigZags before and I am looking forward to seeing the video that Dave & Chris have.

Also the drive through the hills to Mundaring was great fun

nah Ross it was good, just my bad luck that I didn't get to finish it.
My cats will go in tomorrow, so I should be back on the road. :zlove:
Hopefully it won't cost too much more than an hour or two of the zorst guys time.

Yeah, we really enjoyed it, (apart from the Fuzz and the fire).
I took along a new camcorder (bought on Friday) and without showing my wife how to use it, just handed it to her in the car, started accelerating and said , ok start filming ! ha ha the results were hilarious, it's like The Blair Witch movie only with Zeds !

Hey, I can see you haven't been up our way much lately, a lot has changed. It's not quite so sleepy anymore, well closer to Yanchep anyway. Big development happening which is eventually going to engulf poor quaint Two Rocks and our laidback lifestyle which we enjoy so much. Pity we weren't members when Ross had the other run up near us. Yanchep National Park is a pretty spot too and the Gravity Centre is interesting heading towards Gingin. Maybe everyone would enjoy another run north? We even have Marmion Avenue through from Brighton to Yanchep, although 80km/hr speed limit is just stupid.......especially when there's nothing inbetween except dunes. Wanneroo Road is still a far more attractive option for scenery and speed limit.

allthough Waneroo Road still peaks at 90kph until AFTER Yanchep, but yeah, more twisty :D

Just look out for the section near the servo's where it now drops to 60 (?) I think :(

Ahhhh to think, If I still lived in yanchep I'd still be mortgage free :(

Ah well :D Hoondalup Rocks :D

DUB- taking one on the chin for the good of the cruise!

Don't worry guys, it's nothing I can't handle. Cop was an out and out prick, full of statements but no answers to a pointed question, (sidekick was just a newby fresh out of the academy). Strung him along for AGES debating the point about how it 'might' have been too low and how it 'may' have happened, before I casually leaned in through the window and pushed the 'next raised height' button inside and watched his face as the car raised up. Was hilarious, I had to drop my shades to hide my eyes I was so close to losing the poker face.

Told him straight to his face I was getting my moneys worth out of him and he wasn't really much of a concern, I've seen better than his little sideshow, and no doubt I will see more of that tripe again  Let's just say he didn't get to make a quick transaction on the day. I feel embarrassed for the rest of the force really.

    All is cool.
