for an import i would believe it, i believe my 83,000ks on my 89 zed is genuine. whos to say it isnt?

anyway, with the best public transport system in the world, why would they want to drive anything in that country. its not like in australia with our shitcunt busses full of coones and scratched up windows with smelly seats.

Pull your dash out and check out the cluster. Mine had big gouge marks in it where they got into it to clock it

head in the sand much? :p

Why buy a quickly depreciating liability if your not going to drive it? I don't think there are a majority of japanese that do 4000km's a year, but the odo readings on imports says otherwise

    Drive review is rubbish

Oh no, since silver is the metallic light grey, I have a metallic light grey import! Time to sell the car!

I read that article some time back and I think the reviewer possibly based the review from the silvia forums (like the fraud in the lonely planet books).:bash:

lol i hope ur kidding about the grey import thing ..

maybe their talking about the z31?

    Code:
Grey import vehicles are motor vehicles and motorcycles, which may be imported, either brand new or used, from another country, where they are more readily available and competitively priced. The term grey import, in reference to the grey economy refers to an item that has been imported into a country, legally, but without the agreement of the manufacturer. The term parallel import may also be used.

The number on the odo means shit anyway, a car that's got 50,000kms on the clock but has been thrashed to shit every day of its life is going to be in better shape than one with 200,000kms on the clock but taken care of with a full service history.

People focus too much on the figure itself, not taking into considering how it was actually spent. Import car from Japan with 70,000kms on it and covered in stickers with more mods than you can poke a stick at? Thrashed!
