Recently i found a guy in the US who was making orignial copies of the orange lens to a clear lens from a plastic moulds or something, unfortunately he has had to stop due to not having enough time to make moulds for everyone.

My friend is parting out a TT (i'll put up a thread in FSZR soon) and he's given me first dibs of anything on it so I took the tail-lights and some other bits and pieces. But I want to do a LED tail-light conversion similar to this one posted eariler:

I think it's definately possible and if it looks as good as the one's in the picture I'll be pretty happy.

i think it was bigbaz who got that clear diffuser as the ebay one your saying.....its not the diamond shape like the ones in the kitchen but exactly like the 2k bars......he said its expensive but if you only ask for as much as you need instead of the whole light they can cut it to size for under $100 if im not wrong.......

    where are u baz?

btw im sure if we got a GB on all whats needed for the led with circiut boards etc from australia we can get a decent price, just like what we did with the EL panel for the rear of the zed.......

The making of the circuit boards etc is not a problem. The issue, especially with the brake light is to have a dual intensity function so you have taillights and brake lights. I will make some inquiries next week in the "home of LED's to see if there are dual level LEDs.

I have also nutted out (I think) a way to have a chrome parabolic reflector like modern taillights so the inducator lense will be clear and would appear to have a chrome face. Like these

but obviously in the shape of our lights

Don't hold your breath. Getting it together in my head and making it are not closely related! LOL:bash:

It's also a great bar. See review below:

For more than 30 years, this basement establishment was located in Tsim Sha Tsui and had explicit pictures of its namesake at the entranceway. In 2004, however, it moved across the harbor to Wan Chai, no doubt to be closer to like-minded businesses. In any case, this is probably the best place to go if you want a topless joint. Welcoming tourists, couples, and unaccompanied men (but not unaccompanied women), the old Bottoms Up was used as a location shot in the James Bond movie Man with the Golden Gun. It's open daily from 6:30pm to 3:30am.

No, I took it from the Ebay ad.

They look excellent. I'd have some of those.
Pity he stopped making them. :(
