    front bar

I will put more pics up of the front bar for you. I started out with a bomex body kit. I used a two part polyureathane expanding foam, poured this where I wanted changes sanded and ground it to the shape I wanted. Then fibreglassed over the foam. Of course I had to grind back the bodykit first, I bascially reduced it to nothing doing this. I ended up moulding the front bar and side skirts to the car. Most of the front bar was re-glassed It would have been almost easier to start from scratch.

Basically I used the foam for the base of everything and either deloped molds from this or glassed straight over the top to make it part of the kit itself.

i will definately get a front bar, looks similar to the bomex 3 with the sm

all round lights down the bottom. Also interested in the rest of the kit. those mirrors you made are they just covers or do they replace the whole mirror?

    mirrors

The mirrors have a fibreglass piece glued on to the standard mirror after a piece is cut out of them. I glued mine on using a special glue we use in the aircraft industry, it is 300 dollars a litre. I was thinking if any one wants them I will sell them as an exchange unit.

The bomex kit is what I based the kit on, mine will have the lights fitted after painting.

I have an idea for the same kit but with a little more jass. I want to build one out of the mould with the triangle shaped piece the progesses around the car as carbon firbe finish. I think this would look good, great on a red z of course.

And more pics are coming I don't have a digital camera, so i have to wait on one of my mates to help out. It will be later this week.

    front bar

Yeah I don't have a digital camera so I have a mate helping me out with the pics, hopefully I will be able to put some up tommorrow night. I will have to work out a cost, so I will have to price a few more things.

    Prices.

I will make copies if people want them. Basically a front bar will be $650 to make only one. If a few guys want them, say 3 or more the price will $500. Side skirts $350 and the same for a rear bumper. These are for a 2 seater only.

Bonnets vents $50 each or $80 for a pair (photos yet to be shown). Mirrors I don't know cause I have to buy a spare set to excahnge and would depend on the going rate for those.

All products will be made out of a quatily heavy weight fine twill weave cloth. Not chopped strand. This will result in a stronger, lighter more flexiable kit. Kit will come pre-primed in 2 pac primer. Not gel coat finish which in unflexiable and causes cracking in paint.

    lights and time.

I am putting 100mm fog lights in the front of mine, I have made a rubber seal to go around the outside to get a neat fit, the actual outside diameter of my lights is 109mm and the hole in the front bar measures about 120mm.

I am going away on a tafe block in the middle of july for 5 weeks, I will be flat out trying to finish my car until then. It will 2 to 3 weeks for me to make a front bar so you are looking at september sometime. You can give me a call if you want to dicuss this more. (0401 098 132)
