I just saw a news report on TV, a community was rioting against Police because two passengers in a STOLEN car died in an accident, the car was involved in a high speed persuit with a police car... The community were saying if the police had called the chase off the accidident would never have happened... The community are hiding the driver of the car. as he fled the scene.. How about if they didn't steal the car and didn't get caught.. none of it would have ever happened... Hello!... steal my car and I do hope the police hunt you down... I beleive we should be able to protect our own property, be it cars Houses or family.. these people have no respect for peoples hard earned things, I work hard to pay for my luxuries, not for some turd to walk in and take them for free because they feel like it.. Yes my condolences go to the families of the victims..
not sure as to their reasons.. it was only what I saw on the news report... I agree with.. I'd go to jail to protect my property and family...Harm them or come onto my property with ill intent and suffer the conciquences...
Maybe they did it to support there drug habit.. If someone touchs my car. The police are the least thing they would need to worry about. Im the Ol' Man Butcher of my street who shotguns kids playing ball near my car.
Only reason i can think of.: Maybe an officer had harassed the citizens continuously so a couple of them decided to steal his car. Community doesn't care about the car being stolen as it was the cops. Their own revenge if ya know what i mean. Only reason i can think ???:wacko: I definately do not agree with them stealing the car then blaming the cops for killing them.
its the same as TJ Hickey. they make him out to be all innocent and that it was the cops fault for chasing him. I tell you one thing that is the cops job to chase crims. If they dont stand up as in the redfern riots they get critised for not doing enough. There will always be 2 sides to the story and someone trying to blame others for their mistakes.
it really pisse me off when. . . i saw ppl throwin shit like rocks n bottles at the cops. The cops shoulda been firing rubber bullets (and smoke canisters) into that mob. Here's the interesting parallel.... ... mostly peaceful protesters at the world trade summit meeting were readily attacked by the police with horses, dogs, cars the works, while tying to get an important point across. But in Macquarie Fields where no one of any importance at all to the government lives, and a bunch of dole bludging bogan crims threaten life and limb, there's bugger all!:thumbsdown: My first thoughts though were, car theives dead from their efforts.... top stuff:thumbsup: You could only imagine how they would take it if someone stole a "good" car from them.... exactly the same.
Those losers They have not done their dead friends or their community, any favours by behaving this way. They have put on a show for the world to see just how big of a loser they all are. I first thought it was just the punk teenagers causing the trouble. But then I hear what the 'adults' are saying, and they are egging the kids on!! Great example guys... :thumbsdown: No wonder you lot get in trouble with the law. And as for this thug who stole a car with a few friends, sped off, crashed the car and killed them and ran off, why do they protect this guy. HE'S the one who ultimately killed those people. He had a choice. A choice to steal the car, a choice to speed, and a choice to slow down for the police. It really shows the collective intelligence of this group. I think if you add all the IQ points together, you still wouldn't see double digits :wacko: They want the cops to look like the 'bad guys', so whats with the rioting? When I first heard the news that 2 people died, I felt sorry for them and their families. After seeing this behaviour and seeing the parents or the 'grandmother to all the kids' approving this, i'll save my condolenses for those who deserve it. As the saying goes (if it is a saying), You are responsible for your own behaviour. You are rewarded if its good, and punished if its bad.

I understand & respect your point of view Michael......... but heaven help us all if cops are banned from pursuits. If every dipstick (& or criminal) in the nation knew that all they had to do to evade arrest was "put the boot into it" :wacko:
maybe we need those taser type things in 2 fast 2 furious to stop vehicles in high pursuit chases....lol but on a serious note high speed pursuits are dangerous as neither the crooks or the cops have adequate training in vehicle control imho. But until either this is addressed or a better method of halting crooks in chases is devised, we need to still allow the cops to chase. I'm sure if anyone of us saw our beloved Z's stolen, we (or I would anyway) like to see the cops give chase and hunt down the low life how did it.... I think it's all just a matter of putting it into perspective.
