get telstra. Its uncapped d/l and 128kBIT up

load. 10 gig limit and u just get capped after that. Long gone are the days of leeching, i use to average around 20gig / fortnight on optus netstats. Only got banned twice. Telstra is more reliable than optus speed wise. I have had telstra adsl and it sucked, so many problems. Optus cable was good but i get better speeds with telstra cable now. Its not hard to get speeds of 600kB/s on aussie sites like ausgamers. Yes thats 600kiloBytes, not kilobits.I would recommend telstra and its deals for cable over anything else atm. There are a few adsl plans going around with 30gig/mth limits etc but speeds are capped at 512kbit (~60kB) download.

    Prolly your LAN

That figure is prolly your home WLAN speed. ie. the speed between your home computers/routers/WAPs/etc, not between your home computers and the internet.

    Thanks, Simon

I just know that it is SOOOOOOOOOO much faster than my old system. Remember that video of the good-ol' boys getting the car out of the snow? 78minutes to download on my old dial-up system, 18 seconds with this setup!!!!!!!!!!!Cheers, Doug

    You now use People Telecom!

We just acquired swiftel. They have fantastic price pointing simply reselling Telstra, but if its a quality lesser subscribed service you are after we also offer a range of premium business grade services via the request network. These products are fully managed and if you are going to fork out for a high speed conection I would definatly opt for a service such as this!
