Have also installed a flex fuel sensor and nistune board to use E85 once it's run in for the proper power tune.
Did I read that correctly? 290rwkw @12/13 psi? That's not a bad effort. Question? Stock throttle bodies? And You mentioned as quoted about e85 and flex tuning? What rails and injectors/pumps do you have? Only reason I ask is that you may actually make more power on 98 if your fuel delivery can't sustain it. Bet you were happy to have it up and running though
Yes you read it correctly 290.6 @ 13psi . Stock throttle bodies, 300 degree fuel rail, Nismo 740cc injectors and i forget what fuel pump as the mechanic sourced that.
Time for a long over due update. I have had the car back for 2 weeks now , new rims and rubber have been fitted, have had a few teething issues like a bolt trying to kill the timing belt and then the new radiator split an end tank and just a few other little items to sort, and a freshen up on the paint , but it drives really well and has heaps of grunt, now I plan on putting a few km's on it and then get it tuned for the full potential.
Looks good In fact very good 290@14 is very good also, Mid range looked a little laggy but will likely improve when tuned. On e85 could be a potential 450rwkw
Thanks for visiting. Was great to see it finally installed and running. The wheels suit the car great, but I knew they would - I almost feel like it's my build, but hasn't murdered my bank account Can't wait to see it once the bodywork is done, then as we both know I'll get busy cleaning the bay for you.
Good on you buddy. Looks crazy. Hreat work as well. You soind like an anal type of guy . Like me. When this is ready your going to love it. Looks great and will now go like crazy. So good on you. It would be nice to see the final numbers on this with e85. The guys that built this engine are very popular in the us and around the world so this would make a trusting engine. Great work.
Jono is the anal one that is making sure I get everything done to his exact standard but a big shout out to Jono as it was his work in getting the engine and all the parts for what would have been his build and massive kudos to Mitch @ EPR for his workman ship on the engine and his support with answering any questions and helping with info during the build. :zlove:
The Zed has been away this week have the audio gear installed, along with a dash cam. The system is Alpine Double Din head unit with reversing camera, front 6.5" dd linear splits, 1 set of 6.5" coax in the panel the 1/4 panel shelf and another set in the factory location in the trunk, 1 12" type X subwoofer and 2 amps. Also a iRoad V9 Front and rear dashcam. The sound quality and install quality is very very good, and also had the windows re-tinted with 35% on the doors and 20% on the 1/4 panel windows and rear window Next stop is the bodyworks for a respray and a slight change in the bodykit
The car has returned from the Bodyworks, like all work that has been done I am stoked with the outcome of it. Only have a new picture off my phone, will be getting some better quality ones at a later stage.
looks awesome man loving it and great power too gotta come to the dark side and hit the efuel also that shroud custom work im guessing ? looks awesome any more pics of it
Yes the shroud is custom the fan is a Stagea fan to clear around the intake pipes, and it has the flex fuel sensor already installed with the nistune chip, it will be tuned on E85 once it's run in.
