What I think your to explain to me is the combustion temps would be higher?

Just that coolant does not conduct heat as well as water, so adding more coolant to reduce running temps doesn’t really make sense.

stabilize temps, not reduce it. stops the water from boiling and producing steam pressure and blowing out hoses/gaskets etc. which is what was happening with my car.

Ouch and yes I guess would reduce cavitation, thermal expansion etc. Similar result to synthetic coolants. Was this in a Z? Any other mods to cooling system?

no this is in my track skyline. not had a problem since swapping ratios. my fan did chew the radiator Finns, so another radiator because of that.

Had the Z32 detailed and given AutoTriz V1 paint protection the other day, very happy with the results, all the swirl marks are gone and really makes the paint look a lot deeper

Over the last few days Myself and a mate have swapped out the water pump, thermostat and oil cooler, took a fair few hours over 3 days, filled it up today and no leaks visible.
The old thermostat when tested wasn't great and there was a little bit of corrosion in the water pump and the bearing felt a bit notchy.
Did have a new radiator to go in, but can't make it fit with the larger intake pipes.
Have swapped to a lower temp thermostat, will have to wait and see if this solves the temp issues I was having.
