- that was my face lol..was a bit shocked.. Well it looks like it's gone to a good home - It's always hard parting with something that has been in your life for over a decade, but I hope this doesn't mean you will disappear completely.. I barely log onto the forum much these days too..and have just realised its 10 years of zed ownership for me this year, geez that sneaks up on you!
Well it's not In Kansas anymore Toto, wow that pic brings it home that it's gone, seeing it in a strange (to me) setting.
You'll be back for more. Masochism is NOT a curable disease, it's a personality trait  Cheers Ron, thanks for all the advice over the years
Good times Ron. The best thing about owning these cars is getting the opportunity to meet awesome blokes like yourself. Enjoy the Golden Years
Oh, man... this is Year 2000 all over again!! What will happen now that the Wiz is no longer guiding, advising, and helping the rest of us shmucks!!?? I really don't think there are enough words in the English language to say enough about the kindness, selflessness, and all-round 'good-guy'-ness of Ron the Wiz. From the day I first joined this group I have considered you one of the truly Good Guys, Ron. Thank you so much for your help, advice, and mateship during this time. I know others will agree with these sentiments. It's interesting that in this time I have known you I have not heard ONE single word said against you, and nor have I heard you say anything detrimental to others. You are a gentleman of the highest order and one with whom I have been privileged to associate. Although I also have not been an active member for some time (read Zed woes - again!) hopefully, we will catch up at some function in the near future. In saying so, may I suggest to all who would be interested that a special "Night of The Wizard" be organised in the near future to meet up and celebrate a damn good bloke!!
Hey Ron, how DARE you sell the "Z" scene initiation car. That car of yours has a lot to answer for given the first time I was allowed/asked to drive it because you had had a few too many "hic" at lunch on the Hunter Valley cruise organised by Ian (ZX299) some 8-10 yrs. ago subsequently getting me hooked/swayed into getting my own 'Z' & joining the money pit Z scene. But I wouldn't have met so many nice friendly & helpful people like yourself & others if I hadn't of done so. All in all it's been well worth it. Anyway good luck with whatever you have planned in your retirement. Enjoy! Cheers Grahame.
It's always sad, Ron when your baby grows up and leaves home. (Or is it that she has reached the stage where she needs to strike out on her own?) Thank you for allowing me to see what can be done to tastefully improve the breed. I understand what you are saying re the retirement:finance relationship, now being in the same situation (ie., retired) I'll be keeping DREDZ for a while yet (12 years so far) because I can still get in and out of it without too much trouble, and she's not giving me any grief (yet). Very best wishes for the future and with the next project.
