Thanks for the ride, The day has come, watched my Zed of 15 years drive away with new owners today. Why? , pretty much over the Zed scene now, too old and where most of the people i used to associate with have long gone, car sits in the garage most of the year collecting dust only time it comes out is to go to a race meet where pushed to the limit it's only a matter of time before something breaks and being retired for a couple of years now cannot afford the expense of anymore breakdowns Where, its gone to a good home interstate and if the new owner has half as much fun as i?ve had with it he will consider it money well spent. who? I'll leave it up to the new owner to announce that, only to say that it has gone to a place where the Magician can wave his wand over it. Ownership highlights, Too many to list all but some that stand out are The many lifelong Zedfriends i have made Best Zed experience, attending the week long Z convention in Long Beach California in 2004 with cruises, track days , show and shines, Stillen visit, BBQ.s etc. Best local cruise Keza's 3 day cruise through the snowy mountains in 2004. Best Tech day Mr Zee's in 2006 with 50 plus Zeds attending. Four trophy haul at the Coonabarabran Zedfest in 2006. Best Track day ,convoy trip and apre?s party to Phillip Island Nationals in 2007 Having the fastest street Zed at the drags for many years with a 11.9 then a 11.3 with a 1.51 60' time to boot. Having the fastest street Zed at a couple of Nissan Nationals. Having the car featured in a couple of High performance magazines. Driving the Slot car at Wakefield Park in better days. Being a part of the Miracle Zed Motors crew. So thanks for the memories, got a million pics and vids i can look back on, Won?t be totally lost to the Zed scene still have one in the back yard i might do something with one day, always available if anyone needs a track/ drags driver, and able to pass on a lot of Zed knowlege gained over the years, So Keep on Zedding The Wiz.

All the best, Ron. I'm sure the Z scene has changed dramatically in the time you've been a part of it. From being a expensive car to buy, let alone modify... to now being a cheap sports car for many teenagers. I've been contemplating getting out of the car scene for a while, but wouldn't know what to do with myself.
Was great to first meet you at the Nissan Nationals that year in Goulburn. Sad to see your car passed on, but hope the new owner gets as much fun as you have had. Hope you stick around here as we all still need your knowledge and experience. All the best for the future, and hope to see you again in person.

Another one bites the dust Please come along in your Ute or whatever when you can Wiz I think the Zed now is too old for a modern sports car and too young for a classic Give it a few more years though I'm keeping mine
