Ok first off, lets assume that poke isn't an issue... I am concerned with INNER clearance on a 2+2.

I want to rock 18x13's on the rear, and 18x10.5 on the front.

What offsets will get me sitting as close to the inside as possible without fouling anything? Front guard liners are gone.

    Go to www.willtheyfit.com

Enter in two wheels/ tyre combos and it will tell you everything from back spacing, to the % that the speedo will be out by

Jump onto 300zxclub, in the z32 technical/performance section head to the wheels sub section. Check the 'will it fit' & '10" wheel' threads, plenty of guys seem to be running 10" & 10.5" square setups (mostly xxr wheels by the look of it) so that should help with the fronts. Then I think if you check out 1badg35's build (might have to go to his build thread, think his profile links to it) he's running big width rears on a 2+2, 12 or 13 inch & pretty sure he went into backspacing details.

What sort of wheels are you considering Mike?

Thanks for the tip lidz, I'll have a look :) Going for Meisters s13p ;) Can't decide between burning black, bronze or black/matt :(

Put one of ztoy's bronze XD9's on on Sat. Contrast on red looked awesome.

    BLACK BEAST SLICKTOP TT R-SPEC

    R - 13 +0 (tight inner clearance) + (wide body mod)
    F - 10.5 +22 ,camber ,roll pump guards

    I have 11+18 with 45mm wide body

13+0 will stick out 38mm more than me ..but stretch tyres will help

    good luck

what I did, and i have about 2mm of space to the stock rear lower control arm (tubular ones are not yet installed) is a 7" inner barrel, and 5.5" outer lip for my rear 12.5" wide wheel. in my case I have a stoptech BBK all around, so i needed high pad centers to clear the 4 pots in the rear, thus my wheel final offset is 18x12.5 et-1. This is with a lot of camber, and with pulled fenders. On a widebody depending on how large, you can very easily do a 7" inner, 6" outer or larger if you want to run some camber. I would personally just finish your body work and then take some measurements

things are about to change though on mine, as the rear is getting widened a bit.

Don't think I can pass up the deal going on wheels atm tho... I have faith in my body man that he'll make the body work with the wheels :)

I have APracing rears also, so I'm in the same boat with clearance...

I looked into this quite a bit when I was interested in running OEM Lamborghini Diablo wheels. Autostrada's, 17 x 13 +38. Edgar reckons that the most you can run on the rear before fouling on the LCA is a 12" +30. With a 25mm spacer/stud pattern adapter, the 13" +13 has 4mm more inner clearance than a 12 +30 and 6mm less poke than Vince's set up.

I came to the conclusion that with a 17" and a hugely stretched say... 285, maybe 4* of camber, a good guard pull and 2cm or so of poke they'd fit.

If you don't want a widebody, you'll have a tight balance between fouling on the LCA or the fender. I believe that'll be between somewhere +16 and +7 with a 13", but I'd have to try it and see.

Ok, so looking at 18x11+18 and
    18x13-7

Anyone see any inner issues with this?

    Next question is color...

    I like the burning black
    and Black or matt
But ztoy fitted up one of his bronze XD9's on the weekend and that contrast was awesome.
    And then there's the gold.

    Opinions?

One of the sponsers on sau was doing really good pricing on the meisters a little while back, why not just buy some in sizes that will fit? 13 -7 is getting full retard.

I wish it were an option, that's why we trialled it on Mike's car. To see if the would tuck. They won't :p

    Anti 14.7 x 14.7 = 44.1

Yes, they will, and easily for somebody with your experience. A slightly thinner tyre, 3* of camber and a guard roll and they WILL tuck. I'm tucking 265/30/19x10+20 with no flare, 18's will be even easier.

Hey Martin I want to have a long chat with you and Mikey about wheel fitment at some point in the near future. I'd like to get some VMR's (or equivalent) and will need to talk to someone who has been down this path.

No problem :) We'll discuss when I come to pickup those couplers and the air guide.
