    Couple reason really...

    - I don't use it.
    - Blocks a significant amount of airflow.
    - Has significant weight.
    - Clears up heaps of room in the engine bay.
    - Less to go wrong!

He has windows no? Not to mention targa roof.
My a/c works but I hardy ever use it on my slick top, even in Mildura when its 40+ in summer. Windows down with some speed is fine!

Maybe im getting old but I couldn't own a zed without working aircon. Especially when out on long drives, warm day and with the family.

But like I said, I'm getting old ;):):zlove::zlove:

how much a/c stuff did you remove

    condensor?
    pump and brake?
    all lines?
    under dash gear?

surely thats more than 16kg all up....compressor and bracket alone must be close to that.....

The AC system is a nice environment for mould spores to grow - inhale enough of them and they can make you very ill apparently.
Auto-Glym have this aerosol canister that sanitises the system. Open the can up, point it up under the passenger side footwell while the car is idling and the AC system is on for 5 minutes and it kills all the harmful stuff.

    Headlight Fix!

I've had an odd headlight issue for the past few months, basically these were the symptoms.

Turn headlights on, drivers HID works, passenger globe (HID blew so a regular globe was being used) was half on. Both high beams were also half on. Highbeam dash logo was also half on -_-

Seemed pretty odd to me, but with advice from Alex, the issue was quickly resolved! His diagnosis/solution? Short under the main fuse box.

Off came the top layers of the fuse box for a look.

    And sure enough!

You can see the exposed wire in the last picture. Just wrapped it in electrical tape and problem now solved. A few fuses were also blown, so these were replaced.

Also did a boost check to see if i had any leaks, thankfully I don't :)

Big thanks again to Alex, it's nice to have 2 headlights again ;)

    Tommy K Arrival!

What else is there to say :p

Only thing I'm unhappy about is the "Tommy Kiara" sticker/badge isn't on the wing, gonna have to do something about that.
