You can use one like that if you must, but be prepared for a chunk of work - and gotchya's. To use that intake, you'd have to remove the clutch fan and shroud - which given the clearance there would need to put in front of the radiator - where the current a/c fan and air intake actually is. Normally going to an elec fan it's still behind the radiator - but I don't think that would fit at all. You'd also then have to figure out how to route the air intakes back to the existing point, or figure out a new location / method. All in all - lots and lots of work for very minimal gain. It looks neater in the rear engined car because everything else isn't where it would normally be - thinks like radiators etc.
For one it would completely **** up the balance of the car, considering front engine versions (at least 2+0) are 49/51 weight distribution.
There was pictures of one getting around a while ago, had a WRX gearbox IIRC. Didn't look like much chop...

Welcome to my world, I have been trolled over 100 times here. You guys should pool your monies together and collectively build this on a road legal custom chassis. Since any exotic cars are exuberantly taxed in Australia, the R390 would sell really well and make everyone lots of money on top of building a Nissan legend.

Roger, my idea was to a few guys. I think making a custom plenum in the first place, despite any technical over comings, will be over 10 folds the cost of a Zed.
I think you need to quote your 49/51 figures. Pretty sure it was closer to 54.3/45.7 for the 2+0 in American guise. All that aside, the amount of weight you would strip from the rear of the car, plus the mid-mounted style of the engine and some smart little tweaks, you could make the car better balanced. And you'd do it properly with a G50 transmission and an alloy V12.
ITB's. plus that plenum looks gay. AND, 2+0's are no where NEAR 51/49. that would more likely be the 2+2!
