The closest I've found is Turquoise Pearl 746 off the 1990's Celica: Which isn't bad, but it's a bit too blue by a minuscule amount. Any thoughts? Please post up factory colours you think it could be/are close! No, I'm not painting my Z32 that colour. Cheers, -A
That looks like a pretty similar colour to the project mu brakes.. If you cant find what your looking for, print out a clear picture and take it to a paint shop and they can match for you. Id ask my dad to take it his work but the rents are on holidays atm.

Ideas of what can be powdercoated: Suspension Components Calipers Valve Covers Alternator Housing Intake and Intercooler Pipes Wheels Misc Brackets Bolts/fittings etc... (Basically anything made of metal...anything) Pricing: This is determined on a one by one basis, below I've listed the most common parts and where prices start at. K20a.org Users get an additional 10% off (before shipping fees) if you order before the end of April. Valve Covers: *$10 per cyl Calipers: *$85 to *$150 a pair depending on the units Intakes & Turbo piping: *$15 a foot Wheels: 15"-*$50ea, 16"-*$65ea, 17"-*$85ea (MUST sign a disclaimer PRIOR to me starting work) *Prices do not include shipping or core charges. All valve covers require a core return. Meaning, you have to send me your stock vc in the same great condition that I'm sending yours out. If it's not deemed the same quality (bad gauges or scratches) then you will not be refunded the core charge. If you're not sure, email me pics first. Core Charge: What is a core charge? It's the price/value of the valve cover. Since I'm only trying to offer my powder coating services, I buy a few valve covers in anticipation of having your stock one returned to me once you install the newly coated one. This reduces my turnaround time and lowers your cost. Conditions for Core Charge: he valve cover MUST be in the same great condition that the cover is when I send it to you. If there are deep scratches or gouges that must be repaired, then the amount of the refunded core chage goes down. If I find the VC to be unusable, then no refund will be offerend and you must send $15 to cover the shipping of the VC back to you or after 5 business days it becomes the property of RaceCoated. It may sound harsh, but as long as you talk to me and take pictures if you're unsure, everything will be fine. Wheel Disclaimer - Due to the possibilty of tiny stress fractures occuring in poor quality wheels during the 400 degree curing process, all customers getting wheels coated MUST sign a disclaimer PRIOR to the work starting. While the chance of this happening is slim to none, I have to keep customers informed of the chance and cover myself as well. Steve
you know that panelbeaters do colour matching every day of the week... Maybe get friendly with someone local and see what sort of samples they can mix up. This is assuming you have exhausted all available outlets of communication through the company that actually did those parts (although it seems that its a powder coated finish by a company that is no longer in business).
I'm looking for a code I can give to autobarn or wherever so they can mix me some up in a can. Brakes.
Why not just use the code from the celica than. Go to a proper paint shop like protec or similar, not a guess and see shop like autobarn and have them dial the celica code into the computer at which will give them the mixture ratios. Than ask them to tweak it for the desired affect. If the celica is too blue by say 50% they can than remove x element from the code and blend it. I'd rather go to the pros for my paint and have them guess and see as they deal with it on a daily basis. We had a spectro done on our zeds custom paint job and got a 90% match to a land rover colour. But than had the sample tweaked to repustent the zeds true colour. As ours was a custom blend. Shit of an idea unless you record the modified code. Needless to say we now have another modified colour to spray on but done and blended by the pros. The teal is a pretty cool colour. Hope it works out for you.
Really on the hunt for this now. I think the colour might have been standard on the US spec S2k's, but I'm not sure. It's also known as "J's Racing Teal". Still looking after a good 1/2 hour search with the autobarn rep.
